3-Piece Nesting Tables with Slate Tops, Metal/Slate

Love these tables! These were ordered for our patio to blend in with our slate dining table. They are perfect! I have them alongside dark brown wicker chairs and they pull my dining set and the wicker together beautifully!!I was hesitant ordering them at first based on reviews of them arriving damaged etc. They shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.They are well made and sturdy. (won't have to worry about the wind blowing them over, yet not heavy). Each slate top is unique and beautiful - nicer than the picture shows. Lovely natural look. The slate has been sealed and repels water. Because they are slate, they are not perfectly smooth like glass, but they are still level for drinks. Very pleased with this purchase - definitely worth their price.

I love the slate tops. Subtle colours and somewhat rustic. Just absolutely delighted. Heavy (quality wise) not flimsy. Feels quality and looks quality. 🌹

Attractive tables nest well. Very reasonable price. The slate was well-set and covered the whole table top. I only gave it 4 stars because the surface of the stones is more uneven that I had expected in places. That being said, I will probably order another set.November 2015 - I liked the original set so much I bought another one. It's sooo practical and can be arranged so it doesn't look like a box ! This second set also has some uneven surfaces, but I'm going to raise it to 5 stars because of the beauty of the slate coupled with reasonable price and wonderful practicality.May 2017 - I have loved these so much, I just bought my 4th set. Didn't want to take a chance they'd quit making them. Since they nest, 4 sets fit well in a relatively medium-sized living room --- they only take up space when I need them. And I love that we don't need to use coasters for drinks or worry about scratches or water spots from plants.

I'm torn on this one...I'd rate them 3 stars indoors or 4 stars outdoors. They're nice, if a bit crudely made. The slate is a nice assortment of colors. There were a few lines that looked like scratches, but I think they are natural flaws in the slate.Construction is not great. Plates are uneven, so the surface of the table is not flat. I don't mean a subtle criticism here; the central plate of one table is a full 1/4" above the rest of the table. If you want a smooth surface, go elsewhere. One plate has a corner chip, that I don't think is damage, it's just very "rustic" stone. If you like things to be perfectly smooth and unflawed, well first of all you should probably not be buying slate tables at all, but these will probably annoy you.My big objection (hence no 5 stars) is that the tables are coated in a terrible high-gloss finish. It makes them look cheap, and they lack the visual quality of real slate. Which is a shame as they are real slate. I found when I put one inside in my living room it looked kind of cheap because of the gloss. I put them on my deck, however, and they are great! The stone is a really beautiful compliment to outdoor textures and the glossy texture fits in well. So...rusting, not well finished, but attractive, and a good array of sizes.

I love these tables! They arrived carefully packaged and are nice and sturdy. Just the right thing for a TV or sewing table. No assembly is required. One note, the tops are actual slate tile and are not perfectly flat. If you are looking for something level (like for jigsaw puzzles) these will not serve. I also don't think they are high enough to serve as a laptop table. For setting out snacks, eating meals and general use, they are great. I have to agree with other reviews that these would not be suitable for outdoor use unless it was for a short time and you took them inside immediately after. They are on the heavy side, so be aware of that when you order them (solid metal and slate tops). Someone asked if you need to seal the tops. I don't think so, they have a light coating of something on them. FOOTNOTE: the tables arrived ahead of schedule and were well wrapped. Kudos to the seller!

I am very pleased with these tables. They are attractive for either indoors or outdoors, and they nest well so that they take little space when stacked. Individual tables can be used as occasional tables in any room of the house. They are much heavier than the standard "TV" tables families often use to eat dinners in front of the television.One potential negative was that the top of the largest table was chipped. I called the number provided with the tables, and a very nice young woman told me she would send me out a replacement immediately. She also told me that they did not want the damaged table returned. The new table arrived in just a few days, and my opinion of the company's customer service is high.

The larger of the 3 tables arrived damaged. The slate table top was chipped and the metal frame bent. Nice looking tables but still waiting for a replacement.

These tables are very sturdy; they arrived on time and in good condition. I'm glad I purchased them.
