7m (7.6 Yards) of Tyvek 43gsm 1443R Kitemaking Material | Durable, Strong, Lightweight, Breathable

Bought this to make kites. I've made several with it and it is great for kite kite making. You can sew it, glue it or tape it and all work well. It is tough like cloth, easily cut and feels a little like paper. Three are several grades and thicknesses of Tyvek. This one is perfect for making kites. I've looked at Home Depot for theirs which is used to insulate homes. It has the Tyvek brand on the material but costs a little less so it may be another alternative. Regardless, I've enjoyed making kites from this material and would order it again.

I did not need to use this till 1 year later (making a tent groundsheet). Unfolded to only find 2 meter length.I see another reviewer had the same issue, his was corrected, but now shows as not available.

This was much thinner than I expected. I wanted the type of Tyvek used to wrap buildings. This is different. This is less durable, and it's very light weight.I decided to use it for my large mural project anyway, and I've used acrylic craft paint with success. However, the mural is large, the entire piece, 5' x 22', and it probably won't last as long as I wanted it to last. There is already "rub" and wrinkle problems from folding and rolling up this large sheet.This weight is probably fine for small projects like kites, that you don't need to last a long time. I chose the wrong product for my purpose. Large murals need a heavier product.

sewed 2 sheets together to create an outdoor screen for an annual event. Worked well. A little soft but the weight was good for handling. Wrinkles but for our purpose, it worked out well .. used for a 20 minute slide show.

Ordered the 7M, got like 7 FEET...Found the label for 7M was placed over the original label for 2.487M and took a picture...Sending back IMMEDIATELY....Waited a week on top of that... waste of time

Great material but product dimensions listed are not accurate. The total length is significantly less than 496”.

This material is exactly as described. It is the thinner softer Tyvek 1443R, it is NOT the thicker crinkly Homewrap Tyvek. You can make lighter weight, softer items from it, and it doesn't need to be washed or anything to be quiet. More like strong water-resistant cloth. I did originally receive 2 meters instead of 7 meters, however the seller was very responsive and solved the problem quickly. I will be buying from them again when I run out.

Great for a tent floor, or ground cloth. Use your imagination. I found a kite making site that has better pricing.
