The truth about Dylan and Huf
I'm usually a size 10.5 for skate shoes like Emerica Reynolds high/mid, nike's janoski pro model, or any other of the less bulky shoes. I wear size 11 nike dunks high/mid and size 11 dress shoes, which I consider a half size up because of the way they have inner bulk or because of the shape of the toe. I bought size 11 dylans and they were still very tight out of the box. Very tight. My toes felt smushed, and I developed two blisters, on my heel/ Achilles' tendon area, the size of nickels! after walking to the store and back, a distance of less than a half mile. Even after protecting the sensitive areas, the shoes caused another blister to form within each original blister. The inception of blisters. After about a week, of wearing the shoes for a few hours each day and not doing that much walking, the shoes became comfortable. They are leather so I knew they would need to break in and I was expecting them to be a little tight before the stretch. I was expecting a slightly larger shoe, I went a half size bigger and they HURT my feet for a week, maybe if I had worn another different pair of Huf shoes I would have had a better sense about how they fit. I went a half size up and they were still snug even after breaking in.

Looking for a nice dressing shoe for skateboarding
Looking for a nice dressing shoe for skateboarding, date night, a day at the office, a wedding, an intense bike ride around the town or simply walking around, these HUF Dylans can't be beat. I own two pairs of Dylans and one pair of HUF Gillettes. I actually like the look and feel of the Dylan shoes slightly better than the Gillettes, and they're slightly more durable.Warning: These shoes will be uncomfortable for the first couple weeks, especially around the heel/ankle. The shoe's insoles are just too thick for the shoe. The thick insole elevates the heel, which intern makes it rub up and down on the back of the shoe causing blisters. Simply take the insoles out and exchange them for some thinner ones. Wear your Huf Dylans until they're fully broken in and then switch back to the original insoles. Once you switch back, they feel like new.Pro: Durable, clean, skate friendly and super comfortable (once broken in).Con: Possible ankle blisters. These shoes are sick. I own 2 pair. I'll probably get another pair someday. I'd like to get some in suede for skateboarding. I'm not a huge fan of skating in leather shoes.I highly recommend the Dylan. Huf is rad.

They are fantastic for skateboarding as the toe it pointy and precise
These shoes may fit narrow at first but they mold to your foot as you wear them so I'd go true to size. They are fantastic for skateboarding as the toe it pointy and precise. The tongue has thick straps on both sides to hug your arch top of your foot and the insole is firm but has enough give to provide sufficient cushioning. The materials are MUCH better than the rest of Huf's offerings and the style is much nicer so they truly fit with any occasion. I even wear mine with business casual wear then throw on some jeans afterwards to go skateboarding.

RIP Dylan
i dont skate in these, I wear them because they look rad. took a chance and ordered them off of good old amazon. glad I did. they look pretty classy, almost like a dress shoe/skate shoe crossover. the leather seems resilient and strong. not sure how well it would last actually skating with this shoe on, but for casual wear theyre holding up well. sizing was accurate. kinda tough to break in, but that's to be expected with leather shoes. very satisfied with these though. interesting shoe that catches people off guard.

Great Shoe from HUF and Dylan Rieder!
Look great. Feel great. I'm use to skating in vulcanized soles, so this cup sole shoe will be like a new experience again. Looking forward to breaking these in. Every skate shoe brand is doing the same thing theses days...glad Dylan and the Footwear Designers at HUF are doing something different. It's refreshing. Perfect balance of a functional skate shoe and High-End fashion without being flashy. Very subtle design with very high quality leather. Side note in sizing: I normally wear Nike Dunk SB's and Vans in a Size: 11. I ordered the Dylans in Size: 11 as well. Sized appropriately. Go with your size. They do tend to dig in the heel a bit, but that is only temporary, as the leather in the heel will soften. I have a wide foot, and still have no complaints. Stoked I got these!

LOVE THESE.
I have the HUF Gillette and Sutter sneakers. Both size 9. When i saw the Dylan for a good price here on amazon, i had to take advantage. I read the reviews on here saying they fit snug so i ended up going a half size up to a 9.5 and im GLAD i did. 9.5 fit perfectly and the comfort is amazing, def a better comfort/quality than the Gillette and Sutters. Idk if i would skate with the Dylans bc its jus so nice. 5 stars for sure!

Loved the Shoes
The Quality is outstanding, the smell of the leather is amazing, I purchased the black ones too, they just run small, another thing I noticed was that the Navy color with the white soles were longer than the Black and Gum ones. Maybe it was just the two pairs I received, I ordered them again in a half size larger.

Great shoes
I've been eyeballing these shoes for a while and when I saw they were on sale I bought them in a heartbeat . Ive had them now and wear them almost every day except for when I'm skating as I'm trying to preserve them .Initially they may feel tight and narrow they shin to break in and feel very comfortable after wearing them for a bit . While not every skater digs the look of a dress shoe they look real stylish when you're walking around and when I get questioned about them they get astonished to find out that it's a skate shoe. Cop these shoes while they're on sale they're worth every penny .
