Much-Needed Upgrade
This wifi module makes a huge difference in the user-friendliness of our Bullfrog X7! I wish I purchased it sooner. Install was extremely easy; cut power to the tub, open the control panel on the tub, plug in the module and tidy the wiring, power up the tub, then plug in the wifi module to the router. That's it! The modules linked up on their own, I downloaded the app and made an account. It quickly found my control module and allowed me to control all of the settings of the tub. Also of note, having this module installed means the clock on the hot tub actually keeps the correct time. The app is well done, and the maintenance reminders are nice to have in my phone. If you have a Bullfrog spa, don't wait any longer, you won't regret it!

Works with Bullfrog spa
I am using the Bullfrog app and every connected up right away. Installation was easy and almost plug and play. Responsiveness in the app is amazingly fast. I was looking for a remote temperature sensor for the spa but this gives the extra advantage of control. Check your existing spa control but this works with my 2021 X6L.

Works great!
We just got a new Endless Pool Rec 500 swim spa. When we ordered it we really didn’t think Wi-Fi control was a necessary option. Well it isn’t but it sure does make it easier. Our panel faces the back and isn’t easy to reach when you aren’t inside the spa due to the landscaping. It was very easy to set up and works perfectly.

Quality Control ...either left Gecko or poor soldering or ....... just bad luck
I gave this One star for not being able to hook this up right out of the box. I may change my rating if the second one is successful but for now it is what it is for a couple of reasons:1) Pix one - I looked for the USB connection and it was not there. First thought was maybe it's USB powered. Hooked it up to the router and no lights.2) Checked online to see if this was an issue or suppose to have a USB port. The good thing is that I did not find anyone else with this issue reported but it appears that all instructions show a USB should exist.3) Pix two - Popped open the cover and in between the circuit board (cb) and the case was the USB port.Since it was wedged in there, there was no sound of anything loose. But if you zoom (this is looking at the bottom of the USB port) in on the right side is the solder from the cb which should never become detached. And on the left side is the tab that is suppose to soldered to the cb.4) Pic three - just showing the USB (looking at the top) and cb and you can see on the cb were the silveris missing on the right (and stuck to the USB port) and silver on left (under the C20 ) has an indentation for the tab on the USB port that doesn't have any solder on it.5) Granted it was a Saturday .... I called Gecko and they only open Mon Fri.I am going to return to AMZ and try my luck with a second one. Also, I thought I might have received an already opened package. So it is possible (bad luck) that I got a damaged unit from someone who did something stupid like try and force a USB C connector into a micro-USB port and then returned as unopened/new.I will update but in case anyone else has had this issue, please add to this comment....hopefully Iam the one and only.

Port 10022
It works well with my Bullfrog A8 but it disconnects once everyday and has to be unplugged and plugged in to sync with my router. It is apparently related to getting port 10022 opened all the time on my internet router. That info is found in a Gecko in touch tech book that is not linked in the instructions. So far I’ve been unable to get that done. Still working with support from my router. Frustrating. For a short term fix I plugged it into a smart outlet. Turning the outlet off and on re-syncs the module and it is good for anther day.

Required modifications to get it to power up
The power supply did not fit into the power port. I had to make the port opening bigger with a Dremel to accept the USB plug. The manufacturer could not possibly have tested it before packaging it.It’s works after modifying , but the pods MUST be in “line of sight” of each other and the “host pod” must be close to your WI-FI router/extender to work reliably. Why the spa dealer wants 3x the Amazon price for this unit is beyond me; there’s about $50 worth of technology in the whole setup.Having said all the above, once you get it fired up it does what it’s supposed to……, and it’s a better option than going out in the cold, and opening the spa cover just to reset the temp.

Bullfrog A6 Spa
Works great! Easy to connect. We have a new Bullfrog spa (so I don't know if it will work on older models)I'd give it 5 stars but the app is hokey. It works though.

Shouldve bought this sooner
Works great and installed in abought 10 minutes. Super easy to install on x6l bullfrog spa. Don't waste your money and pay bullfrog over $400 for the exact same thing. App connects to the hot tub every time. I imagine this will pay for itself rather quickly since i can keep the hot tub at 80° and only raise the temperature on days we plan on getting in. It also now keeps time right, before installing this, the clock on the hot tub wad so bad that within a month it would be off by almost half an hour.
