These shoes are amazing! I bought them for a trip to Paris because it was going to be rainy when I was there and they did not disappoint. They were warm and waterproof, but most importantly, they were comfortable! I walked 24 miles in these shoes over three days with absolutely no issues. Now that I'm back from my trip, I wear them almost daily as causal boots with jeans. I love them! I would HIGHLY recommend these.Two years later. These are still amazing shoes. I highly recommend!

These things are amazing! I bought these a couple weeks before a trip to Italy and had planned on doing a lot of walking in them. I only got to wear them a couple times before we went on our trip, but no blisters, even during LOTS of walking in them on the trip! They wore in super quickly while still keeping their durability. My feet stay dry even in lots of rain. The photos show the wear on them after a few months, including a couple weeks of travel, and weeks of wear around town.My only complaint is that there is a tiny something (a little knot of thread with glue? not sure...) that is at the top of the opening of the boot, and it rubs the back of my ankle and makes a sore. That isn't enough to make me not wear them though. There's a photo that shows this. As you can see it's super tiny, and probably not even a flaw, it just hits my ankle *just* right so that it rubs.

Soooo comfortable. I have been looking for over a year for boots to wear to work that are stylish ( cute) and comfortable. I have bad feet from wearing ankle boots with a heel and standing all day. It caused nerve damage. I am supposed to wear orthodic shoes but couldn’t find any that didn’t look like old lady shoes (no offense to the elderly but I’m not there yet). These are perfect!! And I am tall and have big feet .. size 11 and these do not look like homie the clown shoes ❤️ If the price goes down I may order another pair in black 😊

Size:9Color: ElkThese boots are amazing! Instantly comfortable, minimal breaking in, and ridiculously adorable. I’m usually a 9 and I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly even with thick socks. They’re also very well made. I look forward to wearing these all fall/winter/spring.

I have been eyeing these since last X-mas! I absolutely love them way more than I thought I would. The ONLY issue is that the WOOD in the heel IS NOT pre-treated with any kind of rain/stain guard. So you have to do that, if you want them to last practically forever! That is a very small issue compared to how much these boots have going for them tho!!! (These might be THE last pair if boots I ever have to buy!) They are THAT good!! SO glad I got these in the color I really wanted! (Elk)*They run a bit narrow. (I'm very glad I did go up a half sz.) Definitely go up a half size* (Escp. if you want to wear thicker socks in winter)These are BEAUTIFUL, go w/everything, dressed up or down, waterproof! & extremely comfortable right outa the box!! Delivery was faster than I expected too. I can't wait for it to get a bit cooler out!(Side note: I actually ordered the same boot from Sorel.com, which were NOT at all as pictured, &were WAY too small. (I got the exact same size. ..explain that!?) AND...Thses were actually LESS $$ (not alot..but still!) than on their site. This color is listed as "Major/Black, showing this boot. Which are actually a greenish-grey-brown!! This picture is the Elk/Cordevan-medum tan. Which isn't even available on their site..dafaq?!

This is the second pair of these boots I have purchased (the first pair I bought from a different retailer, and subsequently returned). I wanted to give them a second shot because they are so cute. But on both pairs the heel strap has ripped off indicating that they are cheaply made. These boots are WAY too expensive to have a flaw like this. Apparently the return window has closed, otherwise I would be sending these back!

update Jan 2019: i have reduced the stars from 5 to 2. I am Sorry to say that after about 2 months of moderate wear these boots have become a disappointment. The leather cracked at the toe about 4 weeks ago and just today I noticed my feet were very wet after walking across snow. Upon inspection I found two inch long cracks in the soles of the boots. the cracks were in the same place in both shoes, right under the ball of the foot. Sorel may have once had a reputation for quality but I am now very very disappointed with these boots. There is no excuse, at this price point, for these boots to be leaking after just a few months.

I read the reviews that said they are a little narrow but still ordered true to size. I have the Sorel Joan of Arc wedges and loved them so so much that I had to purchase more Sorel boots. They are now a staple in my closet. I will agree that these boots are cut a little differently, there are a little narrow in the toes. However, after wearing them all day and then on a second and third day, they do stretch out a bit and are no longer as narrow. I do not wear super thick socks with mine, just regular white athletic socks. They hug your feet. They have a cushion in the sole that is hard to beat. They are absolutely worth the price if you are on the fence. They are made with such good quality they will last for a long time. They keep my feet warm and dry and they do not sweat a lot in these boots. I have had my Joan of Arc wedges for over a year. I wear them at least 2-3 days a week, and there is hardly any wear on them. I know that these boots will have the same quality as the other ones. These are a must buy! Thank you Sorel for such amazing quality products.

I returned these - they were a tad on the small side and I thought the top of the boot was a bit short and wide - I could imagine copious amounts of rain or pebbles flicking right into the boot.They weren’t (in my opinion) handsome or comfortable enough to keep

Gorgeous boots, brilliant fit. Very comfortable on my poor wide, blighted feet. Bought them for dog walking which is bit of a waste of a good looking boot but, they're waterproof, robust, flexible and extremely comfy to wear.

I first ordered these in the major/black colour and went half a size up based on reading other reviews online suggesting this (and due to other Sorel boots I've tried on that fit small). I 100% should have ordered my actual size. The major/black color is true to the colour in the photos - a definite khaki/green tinge but it's subtle. These required no breaking in and were so comfortable right out of the box. I ordered quarry/black in my usual size and they fit perfect and can accommodate thicker socks. The grey colour is also exactly as depicted in the photos. I love these boots and they stay dry in wet weather.
