These are a real boon to those of us who have so much trouble with gluten that even touching a standard communion wafer to the tongue causes a sore. I have celiac disease and have tried for years to work out some way to take communion safely. These gluten-free wafers are absolutely PERFECT. They arrived UNBROKEN (quite a feat in and of itself) in a clever package. They were FRESH, as well, which puts them far above some other brands I have tried.By using small jewelry "zip-top-type" bags from the local craft store, we were able to safely individually wrap each wafer so that our ministers don't have to fuss with them. We store them in an airtight plastic food container, and several safely-sealed-up wafers are added to the regular communion wafer bowl on the altar for each service. It is a simple thing to take a gluten-free wafer in its little bag, pop it out and continue on with the communion service and no one notices that I have had to do something different. THIS IS WONDERFUL! A great product, easily (and safely) handled.....and a big problem managed!This is a great company, with excellent products. Period. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ALL CELIACS AND OTHER GLUTEN-FREE FOLKS WHO HAVE HAD TO AVOID RECEIVING STANDARD COMMUNION. Just make sure to handle the product properly once it is in YOUR hands, so that you (or your ministers) don't cross-contaminate these pristine wafers by contact with regular wafers, or with hands that have handled regular wafers. We purchased these to provide a gluten free option for communion. We wanted the gluten-free wafers to be the same relative size as our normal wafers which are 1 1/8" in diameter. This is really the only brand we could find that met that criteria. The wafers have held up well with no breakage.

My son would rather have no cookie than one of these cookies. The taste is okay. The texture is hard and weird even when microwaved. Short shelf life if you are buying in bulk. Not absolutely terrible but worse than average. Try Pamela's chocolate chip cookies they are wonderful, or try a baking mix.

Truly a gluten free wafer safe for Celiacs. This was a great alternative for First Communion for our daughter who can't have any gluten. Contrary to popular belief, the Catholic church serves a low-gluten wafer but does not have an option for Celiacs or people with gluten sensitivities. This wafer fit the bill for us as being very safe for our daughter to consume. We were thrilled to find it. It's a small package but well worth the price knowing that our daughter won't react to it. If we only use it every Sunday, this package will last over 6 months or longer.

We ordered these in January 2021 and they arrived with an expiration date of March 2021. We have been ordering these since 2015 for our church because my husband is the only gluten free parishioner. They obviously take awhile for him to use them. This order arrived with a two month expiration date and to top it off, we just opened the package to take to our priest and most are broken. Very disappointed in quality control.

Our chapel was having a difficult time locating gluten-free communion wafers. I was thrilled to see these for sale on Amazon. They taste far better than the gluten-continuing wafers that's usually used in our congregation (at least to me). I love that I can now take part in our corporate communion.

This product, when fresh, is fantastic. The expiration date on my package was April of 2018, but these wafers are very stale tasting. Unfortunately, I cannot even return them because they've been consecrated, so we either just put up with them or bury them outside and buy another box. If this had only happened once I would have just blown it off. But this is the second or third time and I'm just can't throw money away on a bad product that's intended to be used as sacramental. The problem is probably in storage and handling, which the company has no control over once the product leaves the factory, but I think I'm done with Ener-G Foods when it comes to communion wafers.

Wow, ok this is not a communion wafer!!!! Communion wafers are thin, white and taste amazing. These are thick, yellow (looks like its old) and tastes nothing like the real thing. And for that price I can make a better one at home. Stay away!
