Nice headboard for the money. Having bought a divan base from another company who wanted to charge us a ridiculous amount of money to have a matching headboard I looked to amazon for inspiration. I found this advertised as amazon prime so went for it as knew had amazon guarantee. This was the only thing that was amazon prime as it had over a weeks delivery time. Amazon provided a yodel delivery reference which was a good job as this was the only way I knew when it was going to be delivered by checking regularly. The packaging was barely adequate and the delivery man commented on how many he had to return due to inadequate packaging. It was however undamaged. The struts were easy to fix but I did need to use four large washers as the bolts pressed into the wood. They are very rough but do the job. I decided to fix it to the wall which was easy to fix brackets due to the thick solid wood back of this headboard. I went for the black faux leather finish. It did not seem quite as padded as in the picture but nice anyway. You can see where pieces of padding meet each other underneath the covering. The back of it has a cheap covering stapled on and you will also need a pair of pliers to pull out the staples that attach the corner protection paper. All in all I am pleased but don't expect perfection. Good value for the money.

The headboard came with few days late, but very well packed with the bolts and sticks for the montage inside. Very good quality, I am happy and will reccomend

This headboard is very smart. It is easy to fit onto our bed as the spacing of the rods were the same as the old one. I was concerned about the thickness at first but, now it's on the bed, I find it very comfortable as I read in bed.

Fits and looks nice

Purchased the black version, 5 ft. Arrived earlier than scheduled, and is a good finish and quality for the price. Looks good.My only complaint, (hence 4 stars) was the poor quality of the fixing uprights (as per other reviews), which were little better than unplanned bits of rough wood. We used the uprights from the old bedhead which were nicely finished and varnished, and put these ones in the fire.Can't fault it for the money, would pay a little more if the uprights were usable.

Lovely looking headboard especially for the money but the wooden fixings provided to attach to the bed are absolutely TERRIBLE; the holes in the posts are not in line with each other and are at least a cm off from the holes in the headboard....If you don't have someone handy around you could end up returning it even though the headboard itself is really nice. No bolts provided either...would rather have paid a couple more £ than have to rummage around and find some.
