There are a couple of comments, one being that to make it easier to keep the compost in when watering it may be a good idea to put pieces of weed suppressant or paper over the hatched inserts above the plant inserts. Additionally once full they are very heavy, I had to get assistance to hang it up!! The quality is excellent and they arrived in excellent condition in good time, thank you.

Nice baskets for the money and feel quite sturdy. The only thing that was a bit fiddley was filling them without the compost coming out of the holes around the side, so I cut up an old fabric type of hanging pouch I had and used that in front of the holes which did the trick. You could just use a plastic bag in place of that. I would recommend, especially for the money.

These are cleverly designed baskets, light,easy to carry and plant up, - they stand upright on the ground. The plastic 'gates' are very convenient, although their grating needs a little plastic cover to stop excess water from escaping. The main problem was that the initial order never did arrive, missing the Christmas deadline. The supplier replaced the order without question, and whilst this was excellent one cannot replace the occasion for which they were intended.

These baskets are well worth the money as after using the old style wire baskets and inserts for years these make planting a dream. And the response to my order for them was impressive.
