RMS Beauty Luminizer Highlighter - Creamy Light-Reflective Organic Face Makeup Palette for Dewy, Glowing & Nourished Skin - Living (0.17 Ounce)

So first off if you hate coconut oil you will hate this. Frankly you'll hate the majority of the RMS Beauty line. All makeup is essentially pigment in a base of some sort. This line uses coconut oil as the carrier for pigment. This is a great subtle highlighter for days you don't wear much makeup. My job requires a full face and sometimes I don't feel like wearing the whole kit n'boodle off the clock. This guy is perfect for days I just throw on some brow gel and concealer. Going back to the coconut oil thing, if you have oily skin this probably isn't going jive well with your skin. My skin decided at 23 that it no longer wanted to be oily and became the Sahara for funsies. This is great for skin like that.tl;dr- The base of this product is coconut oil and thus has all the properties of coconut oil (will melt with minimal heat, is oily etc)- Great for dry skin, not so great for oily skin- Gives a natural effect, think dewy skin as opposed to say a pressed Becca highlighter- Does not apply well over powder, is slightly tacky if you don't 'heat' it slightly with your fingers.

Product is luxe and easy to work with. The texture is great - not to hard that it's difficult to work with, and not too soft making it hard not to over apply and and waste product. I imagine it will last awhile. I used by swirling my ring finger over the surface and tapping it on my cheek and brow bones and lightly blending it in. I used over tinted foundation. It gave a really nice, subtle glow. I feel like my skin looks too dull after I powder my face and this fixed that. It's a really subtle luminizer so if you are looking for something sparkly or obvious you won't like this. Overall I am really happy with this purchase. The packaging is also nice - good quality, nice minimal aesthetic.

This highlighter gives you a really great, natural dewy glow unlike any other highlighter I've ever used. I love wearing it; it just lights up my skin. The first few times I wore it, my coworkers asked me what moisturizer I was using because my skin looked "like a movie star's." I would agree with the comments that it doesn't have the best staying power, and I have to reapply to some areas during the day. Despite the comments about it being a small container, a little goes a long way, and I think the price tag shouldn't be a deterrent. I would also say that I don't use this much for evening wear; it just has more of a daytime feel. And I love that it's made with natural ingredients! Can't recommend enough.Update: I've had this for a couple years now and I'm about halfway through the container, even though I wear it almost every day. I also love Master Mixer if you want something less dewy, more gold, with more staying power.

Maybe I can come back with an update after wearing it for a while, but I could literally see no difference using this AT ALL. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Zilch. I must be missing a trick to the application or something, 'cuz I'm not getting the huzzahs this product is getting. :shrug: I would be happy to come back and edit my review if I see a change. Watch this space (if you have nothing better to do, lol).EDIT: I am glad to change my review. I have continued to use this and though it's a very subtle luminizer, it does look good. Again, it's subtle, but I didn't need racing stripes anyway.

The hype behind this little pot of delight has been well worth the purchase. I know, it's a little steep in the way of pricing but I'm telling you now, the Luminizer is well worth every cent. It's a subtle way to go about highlighting a few key features of your face to give dimension. I'm sure if you're looking into buying the thing you'll do the research necessary to figure out how and where to apply it, so I'll spare you.The LL is buildable, without being "too much." What's nice is the consistency, the way the product feels on your skin, it just melts right in and can still be moved about on your face with ease.If you're looking for a highlighter that promises much more than pop, this is what you need.

I gifted it to my friend who also thinks this is the best highlighter. It's nice and light, and gives you that dewy glow anywhere you apply it. I forgot to add that you can apply it occasionally, if required, but it's not necessary. I'm a huge fan of finger application with all of my makeup and RMS Beauty is the best for that technique. I've never really liked using brushes on my face, even with routine washing, they always seem to cause breakouts. I will recommend this to everyone and anyone looking for a great highlighter!

Pros- cruelty free- natural ingredients- nice, subtle glow unlike powder highlighter.- product goes a long way, good value for money.Cons- none to listI find the best way to use is after liquid/ cream foundation and before any powder. I used it a few times over powder and it didn't sit as well. It is expensive but a small amount goes a long way and you're paying for quality.

It’s alright. I was hoping this might add a glossy or shiny appearance to the face but it didn’t really do that. I feel like it emphasizes the texture on my face and tends to move the makeup that I’m wearing underneath it (it changed the way my blush sat). To its credit - It kind of makes you look sweaty in a good way. I didn’t feel like it was anything to go crazy about though. Definitely wouldn’t buy again for the price. There are better highlighters in my opinion. :)

very small and cheap looking, it`s ok when on, but no better than much cheaper products in my opinion, the good point is that it is smooth when applied
