Very good value, couldn't build one for cheaper. The only downside is having to purchase and install an SSD, but that was pretty straightforward. Has been running smoothly for little over a month.Edit: A little over a year now and still running great!

Good machine

This computer did not work from the start. While running the initial set up it froze and I had to do a hard restart. It took about 10 mins just initializing the system and I tried again. I went through the setting up, installed Minecraft got frozen again. Hard reset downloaded updates on Bio and graphics card, installed them, restart it, try Minecraft and got frozen again. Tried the diagnostics for the graphic card got frozen in the middle of test, tried to go to Dell support site, got frozen, it just constantly freezes after sometime no matter what I run.We opened it to check if memory and all the boards were installed correctly, the hard drive had no screws holding it to the chassis, there was one screw that you can hear left loose (which we chased and used to hold the drive). It really seems that whoever repaired this computer didn't care to do a decent job in putting it together.I tried contacting Dell support, I never got to a live person so I gave up, packed it up and got return label from amazon, it is on its way back to the vendor, something is wrong with either the mother board or the video card and I didn't pay >$1k to now try to figure out the problem.Based on the 5* reviews I felt confident that this refurbished computer was repaired and fully checked as they claim. It definitively does not live to 5 starts. I have also found that many of the reviews are fake now in Amazon and I wonder if all the 5 reviews (all 5*) are actually real.I hope my review will get posted as it is not possible that I am the only person that found issues with this computer and everyone else got a 5* experience, it is possible to be the unlucky one though.

There was an initial hiccup where the tracking for the package seemed to show that it was lost in transit, and I contacted this seller once and got the answer I expected, which was to contact Amazon since it was fulfilled by them. I got busy, though, and did not get in touch with anyone else, yet one day later, a different package with this system showed up at my doorstep, much to my astonished delight! And for the icing on the cake, the system itself shows no signs of being refurbished...the case was super clean inside and out (as a former tech, I always open the case to take a look), and the system runs fast and smooth, just as expected. The only little, tiny problems I've had have all been related to Windows or apps--nothing to do with the seller or Amazon. I highly recommend this system and the seller. One note, I have not rated it for gaming because I bought this in order to have high-quality graphics and were super responsive for my work as an editor (words, not video), where I am often consulting multiple programs at once and editing graphics-heavy documents. My last system was another XPS that was top-of-the-line, but had aged and gotten bogged down and too slow. I am delighted with this choice, which I made after much research. I got the best of all possible worlds, having optimal speed, responsiveness, graphics quality, and storage availability combined with a downright bargain price. Again, I highly recommend this system if you're needing this combination of features.

Was looking to upgrade from my laptop. This computer has basically everything I was looking for. Good specs, a GPU and wireless connectivity. Worked straight out of the gate with few issues if any. Gamine runs to my par, have yet to test streaming and push its limits, but a good desktop overall.

Set up the machine for a kid who needed a more powerful system then normal for some animating he wanted to do. Not exactly sure how it's going for him yet but it was a lot of fun to set up and makes me just want to keep it. It is a powerhouse of a machine.

I don't think this computer handles processing data through the hard drive properly. It is incredibly slow. Slow to boot, slow to operate. I've tried completely white-washing the entire computer and re-installing Windows 10 from scratch. Still slow. I upgraded to Windows 11. Still slow. I've run hard drive checkdisks for errors and it didn't find any. But everything is snails pace with this machine. I tried to make it last but now I'm out of warranty and wish I'd never spent the money on this in the first place.

This computer is pretty awesome! My son put one of his games (Assassins' Creed, I think it was) on to test it out and ended up buying a new gaming desktop. I use it for editing photos and of course social junk! LOL
