One of the best purchases I've made
I can see what most of you are thinking, "wow that's a lot of money for this set."I get why you would think that. I've been a Disney fan my entire life, my parents always bought the VHS tapes for me so I basically had them all when I was a kid. Later on, I tried to collect all of them on DVD. I got most of them, but it was extremely hard and expensive. After I upgraded to Blu Ray later in life, I only bought the new releases on Blu Ray and didn't have the need to upgrade all of my DVD's.But this value is AMAZING. If you were to buy all of these movies seperately, you could easily end up spending 700 to 800 pounds. With this set however, you get all the amazing classics in an extremely beautiful box set. There's also a 80 page book included with stellar pages and photographs.I should note that most of these Blu Rays are seperate releases, they are just put together in a huge box. That means that some Blu Rays don't have much special features (looking at you Pinocchio) because that Blu Ray was released with a seperate blu ray disc with all those special features. Since it's only the main feature, it lacks bonus features. However, other brilliant movies like Cinderella, are basically the diamond edition releases so they have all the goodies and the extras. If you're still doubting to buy this. DON'T !! If you are a Disney fan, it's really worth it.[Sidenote: There are 5 dvd's included that never got a Blu Ray release, but your blu ray player automatically upgrades them to better quality so you hardly notice the difference since those particular movies are a little bit older and lesser known.]

True Disney Magic.
Have had this a few days now and I absolutely love this collection. Ever since they started releasing the classics line on blu ray I wished and hoped that there would be a box set and this has truly met that wish. If you get the magic of Disney films and have the same passion as I do for them you’ll love this.Let me just tell you what you get. There are 50 blu rays and 5 DVDs. The blu rays are in each case the most recently released versions. There are special features included for nearly every film. For the films that had a diamond edition release only you get disc 1 but this is replaced in the case of the films that were released with the newer cases so the likes of Frozen has more. This also contains a slot for Ralph Breaks the Internet when that is released in the spring. You also get a Dorling Kindersley produced book detailing the history of the Walt Disney animation studios that would probably be worth £20-30 in itself. Despite the high price this is an absolute bargain when you work out the price of each film separately and what the diamond edition releases go for now. Needless to say it carries the usual incredibly high quality standard we have come to expect from Disney animation releases down the years.

It's very difficult to know what to say about this...
I purchsed it as a Christmas present for my daughter and granddaughter, went for the BluRay rather than the DVD version as you can't dispute that BluRay is the better format. As it was sealed when I wrapped it, I couldn't comment on the quality inside, but I have since been informed, through squeals of delight from my daughter (still the biggest kid over 30 that I know) that the disks are presented well and the included book is very colourful and quite comprehensive in its coverage. It does have to be said though, that it isn't ALL BluRay, there are four (I think) of the disks that are DVD only, oh and it isn't copmplete,as such, as it doesn't contain Song of the South (but then again that isn't available anywhere). If you're someone that likes complete sets, and can stand the price tag, it a must purchase.

It doesn’t include the Pixar films.
Bought this as a birthday present for my wife - who loves Disney animated films. She was thrilled with this and to be fair it is beautifully presented and comes with a book too. It’s surprising how many animated Disney films there are. She opened it expecting to find treasures such as Toy Story but the Pixar films are not included. However, that didn’t detract too much from what was included. The only slight criticism is that they leave a disc space for an, as yet, unreleased film. Would have thought there would have been a voucher for it at least. Even that is not enough to drop this to 4 stars though.

Utterly amazing. Beautiful presentation in solid construction - note Rescuers Down Under is present
Utterly amazing. Beautiful presentation in a solid construction to appear as though it is a hardback back - note that Rescuers Down Under is present. The Rescuers Down Under disk includes and defaults to the first film at playback. Simply press top menu on remote, select play for the firm and you can then select either film. It appears blu-Ray is only generally available to include both films. This also means you have the first film twice as that has its own dedicated disk and merely both first films and rescuers down under are both on the same rescuers down under disk.
