I didn’t really blame Reef Tigger when they blatantly copied Jaeger LeCoutre, Blancpain, Graham, etc, as they are high end watches that are not only expensive, but beautiful and unique. I’m kind of scratching my head though as it seems that RT is now copying Invicta, a relatively inexpensive brand (that people seem to have a love/hate relationship with, but I think that has to do more with their marketing than anything else) that’s been known to “borrow heavily” from other watch brands. Sure, Invicta has created a few iconic designs of their own, and it’s not the first time I’ve seen someone copy a watch designed by Invicta, just not several of them lol! I’m only giving this watch 2 stars because it’s not really a very attractive watch, and because while Invicta pays the fees to use the Disney images on their watches, RT doesn’t. That, and it’s a mashup of a couple different subaqua noma variants with an incredibly busy face (and the iconic “mouse ears” as hour markers)...yuck.RT is lucky they mostly get positive reviews for the watches actually working and being somewhat decent, or this would have been a one star rating.
