VERY pleased. Read here for instructions on those confusing ties!
I'm VERY happy with this under-robe. I've started wearing it around the house by itself as a house robe... it's perfect in this outrageous Texas summer heat. Now about those pesky ties: there's a small hole, like a button hole, underneath the larger armpit hole on the left side of the hadajuban. It's there for the right-side tie to pass through. There's no corresponding button hole on the right side, for reasons I'll get to in a moment. To tie the hadajuban:Put the hadajuban on. Holding the left front open with your left hand, take the tie from the right side and poke it through that little button hole, from inside to outside. Pull enough through that it doesn't fall back out.Close the left front over the right front. You'll have a tie on each side again, and now you just pull them behind you like apron strings. Cross them behind you then back to the front again. Adjust the ties so they're comfortably tight around your body, then tie them in a little slipknot or bow, front and center. I'm a bit thick but I still have just enough tie to make a little slipknot. And that's it! It took me a minute to figure it out myself but then I realized what the deal was. I think two things are behind this arrangement: 1. it's very adjustable, and 2. it forces you to close the hadajuban with the left side over the right. That's a big deal in Japan because only the dead are dressed right-side-over-left. I learned a little mnemonic from a cute kimono video, to remember how to do it correctly: "leftover rice". Always wear kimono closed left over right.I know it's hard to describe this sort of thing with just words, but I hope I've done well enough to be helpful.

It's worth emailing to help get a good fit
It was almost exactly what I was looking for to go underneath my traditional kimono: BUT: going by my bust size, as I generally have to do, I ended up with an XXL. So big. So very big. There was no white collar on the garment. This meant trying to find a white under kimono collar. If that makes sense to you....Overall, the cotton was very stiff. Once I tried it on under various kimono options, I wish it would have been returnable. That said, FINDING REAL JAPANESE ATTIRE IS VERY VERY DIFFICULT. THIS COMPANY DID A GOOD JOB EXPLAINING THE COMPLICATED LAYERS

Does not go up to size 18 like it says
I was excited to get this to go with my silk kimono, but it does not fit! I am a size 18, but I could not get it to cross over my chest properly, nor could I cross the straps in the back and then tie it in the front. I am disappointed, as the material feels nice and I was hoping to be able to wear my kimono properly.

This is a nice nagajuban, which makes me wish it fit
This is a nice nagajuban, which makes me wish it fit! Unfortunately for me this is a bit too small across the hips (I usually wear a 16, 47" at the widest part of my hips). It would be do-able, but as the kimono I bought it for also does not fit (and not in a do-able way), I must return this.

Juat what I needed.
It fits perfectly! The cloth is cool, light, and comfortable, and is perfect under my casual yukata. There is a bit of a curve in the chest area, so it's easier to know when you have it arranged correctly, and the ties are just the right length for me, leaving only a small bow in the front that doesn't distort the lay of my obi. I will be purchasing another here soon.

Perfect Yukata Accompaniment
This is the undergarment for the yukata. I'm 5'9" & NOT a size 7, so I'm usually concerned about sizing, especially online. The hadajuban fits very well, especially since there is no need to adjust the length. I feel a lot more comfortable with it under my yukata along with my usual undergarments. It's a slightly stiffer cotton (not like a t-shirt) but it isn't irritating to skin. Since it's white, it's not exactly opaque, so you really can't wear it as a stand-alone yukata.

Fine except for ties
Overall, it wasn't bad, but the fact that the ties don't work without modification is a major con. I ended up ripping a small portion of the side seam in order to create a hole to pass the tie through.

Just what I need
Perfect for what I need, but I think it would be a be a bit small for the highest end of the size range. It is nice and light and will protect my yukata from sweat on hot days. Very pleased.

Tela un poco translucida
La tela es un poco translucida, vino con unos cuantos hilos sueltos pero nada que afectase el uso ya que lo use como vestuario.
