oRDERED THESE AGES AGO, But they have been sohanday from tea coffee milk and cookies for the kids and smaller potions of soup love the size and the handles. Have no idea of their origin.

Is the inside bottom smooth and rounded from the sides ? Or, is there a flat circle inside at the bottom ?

Dunno about the painting. I suspect you could, as for baking in the oven, they appear to be like Pyrex in thickness, but I haven't tried baking with them. :)
