PMEPlunger Cutters, Snowflake, 3-Pack

These plunger snowflakes are awesome and very easy to use. I had a great time using them. I made my snowflakes out of fondant and they were amazing. At the end I also used some peal dust to color them. They looked spectacular. Definitely recommend these.

Plunge cutters worked perfect. I used a pasta roller to get an even sheet of gum paste. You have to push hard to get the perfect cut. I made about 200 snowflakes for a wedding cake and they all looked perfect. The medium one you need to use a toothpick to clean the excess but it's very detailed.

The large snow flake punch worked pretty well. The middle size tended to work only every so often. The small cutter worked very well. The problem was in the amount of spring and push the mold had to push out the finished product.There needed to be instructions for how thick the fondant should be to cut well. A few improvements could be made that would create a better finished product.

I love this cutter set, it makes perfect fondant snowflakes and comes apart for easy cleaning. I had no problems cutting, imprinting and ejecting the snowflakes. I'll upload a picture of a cake I made using this cutter. It took a minimal amount of time to make a lovely winter birthday cake. This cutter would be great for cupcake toppers, etc.

If you are looking for real PME brand cutters, these are not them. That's probably why they are so cheap. I own a set of PME snowflake cutters and bought this set for work. I thought I was buying real PME cutters so I was a bit unhappy to find out that these are knock offs. I've bought other PME knock offs before and they were always crappy. These snowflakes, however, seem o.k. I've only cut about 50 snowflakes with them, but the detail is good and the cutters seem sturdy. Hopefully they will last; if they do then it's a great deal for only $11. This vendor should get 1 star for honesty, though.

I just used these a couple days ago and I love them! They are very easy to use and make the prettiest snowflakes. They make very dainty and detailed cookies, but they are not overly fragile. I would pop them out directly on your pan or parchment paper to prevent messing up the dough, but other than these are very easy to work with.

These are awesome!! I used them to cut/stamp my white fondant and used the snowflakes as cupcake decorations. It really made my project pop! I'm relieved- I couldn't imagine trying to DRAW snowflakes using white chocolate. Make these and you will look like a professional!I was really worried about edges. Other comments have mentioned that the middle size is a little bit of a diva. This is true!! I got it to work by cutting, pressing the stamp, and then picking up the whole thing and pulling fondant away a little at a time with a toothpick. It worked fine, but was a little annoying. Still, I'm giving a 5-star rating because after I took the time to do it, they snowflakes looked amazing. The large and small cutters also do not have this problem; it was cut, stamp, release.Highly recommended!

Once you figure out how to use them, these cutters work well. I used them to cut cheese for a child's frozen party. When in use, make sure you press the cutter into your medium (ie cookie dough)on the round part. Once the dough is in the cutter, just press down the plunger over a cookie sheet or your hand. Voila! You have your perfectly shaped cookie.

These snowflake cutters produce great snowflakes but I found the shape didn't come out cleanly so that I had to spend quite some time picking out the icing between the frilly edges. There is obviously a knack to it which I haven't got, but I will be using them again this Christmas because the finished snowflakes are really effective in white on a coloured cake. They look great on cupcakes too.

I bought these to cut pastry to make mince pie tops, they are great. Look very pretty and festive. They are just a bit fiddly to clean.
