The Best of EastEnders [DVD] [2018]

This DVD offers a truly nostalgic throw back to Classic EastEnders!Each moment featured is one you could never forget. Danielle’s death is one that is featured and I think everyone who’s watched this show since then or before can never forget such a devastating storyline.Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) takes us on a trip down memory lane in the most comical way. However, no other cast members feature apart from the scenes featured as per the throwback moments. I believe they should of totally had more cast members, it’s probably because Adam has been there since 1985 when it started as to the reason why he hosts the whole thing.The DVD has no bonus features - I feel slightly disappointed by this. They should of included some clips of other classic moments we might have missed, in the bonus features. For instance, nothing of the 30th anniversary is featured. That’s the only thing I can knock about this DVD because it doesn’t feel at all worth it’s price. I’d probably charge this at £7.99.But regardless of no bonus features, if you’re looking for a good throwback down Walford memory lane, this is the DVD for you!I do believe they should release “The Best of EastEnders 2” or maybe add :Weddings - as separate titles. But I doubt this will happen.

It brought back memories of all the headline grabbing stories and why they were in the papers, a chance to remember all the old faces and why it was so good unlike nowadays, but it had a few modern clips to keep me up to date.

Nice reminder of the past Eastenders stories!

I bought the best of eastenders for my son as he loves watching the old episodes with grant, angie, den etc, so all being well he should enjoy the DVD of the best
