Initially I really liked it, but for my colored hair it had more of a red color deposit - Now it is too much and I am disappointed in my color job. I need a ash/blonde color for my hair and shouldn't go too far from that combination. '

The platinum is great if you want a white/lilac color
I have naturally medium brown hair. I've used both the platinum toner and the champagne. The platinum is great if you want a white/lilac color, but beware, I leave it on about 10 minutes and there is definitely some purple color in my hair which isn't quite what I want. This stuff is a God send because wella literally makes my head feel like it's on fire as soon as it touches my scalp! The champagne toner wasn't much different from the platinum except for there were no purple streaks. I think this will be my go-to toner. No burning, super creamy and rich. My recipe is1 part Ion Color Brilliance Ammonia free powder bleach (comes in purple tub)2 to 2.5 parts Ion Color Brilliance 30 volume developerCover entire area you need lifted (only apply to your roots if you just need to lighten roots. No need to bleach already bleached hair! ;)I left it sit for 30 minutes to an hour- wait until you hair looks close to white (pale, pale yellow)Rinse well-Add entire tube of toner to 1.5 oz Blond Brilliance 5 volume developer (it turns a weird orange! don't freak out, I did at first lol)Apply roots to tip, concentrating on freshly bleached hair (for me that's my roots)Leave on about 10- 20 minutes until your newly bleached hair is a nice cool tone you want. (Don't freak if the rest of your hair looks grey or a weird color, mine did and then it was beautiful after I washed the toner out.Use a great shampoo and conditioner afterwords and let the conditioner set for 5 minutes. And your done! I'll try the golden wheat next time just to be sure I don't like that one better and keep you all posted :)PS-Blondes do have more fun! XOXOXO!
