Outward Hound Granby Splash Dog Life Jacket, Life Vest, Orange, Large

Our baby is a 70lb American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull) and we ordered the large. The fit is great. He loves to swim and this makes it easier on him. He wears his life jacket and swims safely the entire time we are at the lake. The orange color has great visibility in the water. The best part is that our dog is happy and comfortable in his life jacket. He even gets excited when he sees it! The life jacket appears well made with clean stitching and secure fasteners. This is our first season using it and we've already had it a month. Highly recommend

I really like this life jacket. My dog used it in the pool and was able to swim comfortably while the jacket helped keep him afloat. It feels well made, the adjustable straps make it easy to get a good fit, and the design is practical for adding extra safety around the water. Overall, I’m very happy with it and would recommend it for dogs that enjoy swimming.

Received the swim vest today. The quality is great but I am glad I sized up per previous reviews. Our dachshund is a small according to the size chart but the medium fit perfect.

I really wanted this life jacket to work because the quality seems excellent, but unfortunately the sizing just didn't fit my dog. I ordered the Large then returned for a Medium, needless to say the Medium was returned too. My dog measures exactly 28 inches around her chest, which put her right at the recommended size for the Large. However, when we tried it on, the belly flaps overlapped so much that the Velcro didn't even make contact. It also created a large pocket underneath her that filled with water while she swam. I exchanged it for the Medium, hoping that would solve the problem, but it was too small. The belly straps didn't even wrap all the way around her, so there was no way to secure it properly. If your dog falls right between sizes like mine does, you may run into the same issue. It's a well-made life jacket with sturdy construction and good features, but unfortunately the fit just wasn't right for us. I'll have to keep looking for another brand that offers a better fit for dogs between sizes.

Great life jacket. Easy to put on and adjust size is good. I have 3 and one of them is 19 years old and still going with some wear I had to stitch the wraparound gray part at the corners to the side section of the top piece. They dry up quickly in the sun and kept the dogs afloat. They swim every day all summer long and runaround in it so it’s not too thick or heavy.

The XL size fit my golden retriever perfectly. It's effective and my dog seems comfortable enough in it. I like how securely it fits with all the straps.

I ordered a size medium for my dog Domino who’s is 35 lbs, his chest is 22 inches around and he’s about 20 inches long from his withers to the base of his tail. Overall it fits well!! He is very weirdly put together with stumpy legs and a long stocky body, the size chart seemed pretty accurate for this. I wish it was just a couple inches longer over his back, but I think sizing up to large would be too big for him. This was his first time wearing a life jacket and he seemed comfortable and unbothered by it (he also has an old soul personality). Worth it for the price as well as it is cheaper here than Petsmart and Petco. We will continue using this for the summer as he learns how to swim!

This dog life Jacket is fine. I took my puppy swimming for the first time and im not sure if it kept her afloat. Today we tried again and she did fine without so im not sure it did much. It look liked it was barely keeping her afloat. Head and neck float? Worthless. She had to keep her head up the whole time, which was fine, but kinda annoyed it said it would keep her head up. Not going to return it, as this is what sometimes happens when you buy budget stuff, but I'm upgrading to a Ruffwear in the near future.

True to the reviews, I bought this for our small corgi puppy (about half the size of a typical adult corgi) and she might outgrow it as she reaches her adult size since it's a bit smaller than the measurements given. However it does a great job at keeping her afloat in the water and she now loves swimming! So glad we bought this and we will definitely buy a larger one when she outgrows it! Highly recommend!

Le queda a la perfección a mi Labradora regordeta. Le ayuda a descansar de sus nadadas y se relaja con facilidad, ya que le da miedo que nos metamos a lo profundo y entra a sacar personas. Ahora con su chaleco no lastima a nadie con sus uñas y parece disfrutarlo, porque al verlo se emociona, y cuando se lo quito lo solicita nuevamente. No olvidemos que hay que lavarlo con agua dulce para que resista mas años, el que adquirí ya tiene un par de años y sigue como nuevo.

Ordered a size large for my Husky x Malamute, who weighs about 33kg. Fairly good quality but I did notice one of the straps was hard to tighten up as it kept coming loose when adjusting it. The front velcro flap could have been longer, but the underside velcro flap was perfect and offered lots of adjustability. Size was spot on, could have been a little longer in the back but provided extra buoyancy when she was swimming. The colour is also bright making her easier to spot in the water. She had no issues running around or swimming in it, and didn't show any discomfort whilst wearing it. Overall very happy with how quickly it was delivered and found it reasonable value for money.

Por fin un flotador de verdad! Había probado varios chalecos para mi perra y con todos se hundía, ya que es pequeña pero pesa mucho. Este ha sido el único chaleco con el que realmente flota y no tenemos que estar preocupados. La zona del cuello es super importante y buena idea, ya que hace que su cabeza siempre esté sobre el agua.
