Dayton3VU31 Heater, Space, 120v

I looked at and tested a couple heaters and this one worked great! I did not want to incur the expense of a 240 V line and heater for the few times that I actually need to heat up my garage. This heats up my two car garage, which measures roughly 20 x 20 with no problem at all, on top of that, it is UL rated, which normally would not mean a lot to me, except for the fact that this thing literally gets red hot. Definitely a buy if you are looking for a small efficient heater.

We bought this to heat up our 33 foot RV. It does a nice job taking the chill out of the air. Helps us save on propane gas

My old ceramic heater finally bit the dust, and I really needed something to warm up my one car garage (which I use as my workshop) in the winter. So far this item has done the job, and better than my previous unit.Heats up my shop pretty quick, and I haven't even tried the highest setting yet. It does put off an odd smell, but it has not been overbearing and may fade with use (I didn't get to work it too hard this year).So far so good.

Dayton products in general, are solid, and this space heater stands true to their name. I see these space heaters at offices around the country. Before I purchased one, I ask folks who used these, and everybody liked them.

For some reason I thought this heater was going to be larger than it is. It's a good thing I found a great price on it because had I spent North of $100 for it I would've been very disappointed. The build quality is average and it heats ok. Just don't expect it to do much out in a garage. It's better suited to a basement workshop or similar.
