We are very happy with the chair. My husband was using a swivel rocker which was attractive, but not practical as it was so difficult and unsafe for him to get out of the chair. The lift and tip function solved the problem.

Pro's - For medium to larger people. Very comfortable chair. Reasonably priced.Con's - lots of buttons on remote. Expensive emergency backup.

I received the chairs(I bought two) and the delivery was great, the chairs were easy to set up but I was extremely disappointed that a week after I get them the price drops $100 a piece! We really could have used that price drop for buying two chairs.My thinking I should return them and reorder or just get different ones?They aren’t the most comfortable anyway.

The chair is still working, but the hand-held control device broke. Both Amazon and the Ashley Ballister company require a serial number for the chair before they will allow any communications. Go figure. And good luck finding the right serial number. I haven't. My control device broke while I was in the chair with the leg lift up. Almost injured myself trying to get out of it. I was able to duct tape my control device to a piece of cardboard, so while it's pretty ugly, It still works. The problem is the rubber grommet thing that holds the cord going into the hand device. It split from being bent over time, and allowed the power connection from the chair to the device to unplug from the control board within it. Fortunately, I was able to pry open the hand device and reconnect the proper connector, but had I not been able to do so, that expensive chair would have been so much trash for the want of a simple device that probably cost less than $100.Since I purchased Amazon's maintenance plan for this chair, I feel ripped off. All I want is to purchase a new control device, but no one will talk to me and I can't even communicate via the internet without the elusive and probably nonexistent serial number. When this chair gives out, I will NOT purchase another one from either Ashley Ballister or Amazon. And I will NEVER, EVER purchase an Amazon maintenance plan again.

Ordered sight unseen for my mom who returned home from hip replacement surgery and her bed was too high to sleep in. Amazon delivered the chair in 3 days (ordered on a Saturday). Mom sleeps like a baby in it and loves it. She is 86 years old and tiny and she is comfortable in it. The chair is good size. I am 6’1” and it fits me fine. I would absolutely order one if I needed a new chair. Color … pictures are brown but I noticed the description is gunmetal. We didn’t care which color showed up. The gunmetal fits in nicely with moms grey and black decor. The brown would have been fine too. Just check the description rather than the picture for color. Easy assembly. As far as delivery goes … I wanted in home assembly but it couldn’t be guaranteed in 3 days. So I changed the delivery method AFTER ORDERING on the Amazon website to “deliver inside lobby” and the delivery date changed back to 3 days. When the truck showed up I asked if they could bring it to mom’s room and they said no problem. After they delivered it to the room I tipped them handsomely and made their day as well. So, love the chair, make sure to double check the color in the description and work with delivery people and/or options to get your needs met. Five stars for Ashley & Amazon delivery.

Color is not what picture shows picture. Brown it came charcoal grey

The item is just as pictured. Our color is the brownish one as advertised, not the grey that some people received. It was easy to assemble and is great for dad who just had open heart surgery. My mom also is enjoying it but I had to adjust it for her because there are a lot of buttons on the control. But once I've got her ideal spot she has taken very well to it.I was very dissatisfied with delivery. At check out, it had me choose a delivery date which was Saturday. I received no communication and not delivery Saturday. I contacted the shipper, CEVA, and found out that they ship it to a third party who then delivered it to us. Instead of Saturday February 6, it came Wednesday February 10. I paid for delivery inside my home as the den is upstairs. The guy said that they do not typically deliver inside but I let him know I paid extra for it. He and my brother brought it in (as the delivery drive was just one person). He was very nice, but the Amazon/CEVA/This local freight company has the info all wrong. It was saying it had been delivered on a day that it had not and had scheduled me on the 11th originally. I did not make that appointment and unsure who they spoke to that made it as I am the only one they could talk to. Dad was in Cardia ICO and mother has dementia and never answers the phone.All in all, I am happy with the item but make sure you follow through with phone calls to the delivery company.

I had already tried the Ashley Ballister recliner prior to ordering. The local price was around $1500 plus delivery. Amazon included inside entryway delivery. The 3D Delivery has poor ratings but no so for me. They called ahead, delivered one day earlier than expected, and placed the box inside the house as stated. I needed help putting the back on as shown in picture two because it is a little bit too heavy for me but in a pinch, I would have managed it. Loving it!

My new lift chair is very comfortable, easy to use, very happy with my purchase.

Bought this chair to match our other one , colour was exact match and price was cheaper than at the store with less wait time for delivery too ! If you have medical issues it will lift you out if the seat too !!
