Black Beard Deluxe Child Costume - Large (10-12)

The sword broke first fight. The hat and belt were way too small. The beard too big. The material flimsy. All this from something with Disney on the label and a cost of nearly 1/3-1/2 of $100?

Put this together with another piece and I am very happy. The belts and hat are not very usable.

What a huge disappointment!!!! It is called "Deluxe"!!! I would like to know what is "Deluxe" about this costume?!! My son is only 7 years old and since I wanted it to last for a long time (he loves pirates) I ordered size L (10-12) years old. It hardly fits him. It runs too small!!! Even the hat is a joke, perhaps it fits a baby. The material is so cheap polyester and the belts keep falling off!!! The diagonal belt is attached to the jacket and it doesn't go around. Don't even want to go into details about the beard!I would so totally send it back if it wasn't for my son who wants to be Black Beard (his sister is going as Angelica). I'll probably pull out my sewing machine and come up with something better.So unless you have a child who doesn't want to go as anything else, don't even bother buying this costume. I wonder how much they paid to have it made in China? Most likely no more than $2 bugs.!!!! Have it made in the US and ask for a little more. Would be happy to pay for it.

My 5 y/o loves this costume! He still wears it to play pirates. It's big enough he will be able to wear it for a while. Great quality for an affordable price!

My child was very disappointed in the mixed sizes of the costume we ordered. He could not wear the beard and hat because they were for a toddler and he is 9 years old. The waist sash had to be pinned on because it also was for a toddler and too small for him. The only items that were the size we ordered were the jacket and shoulder sash. If we had had time, we would have sent everything back. This is the 2nd time Amazon.com has sent us bad orders where either pieces are missing or packaged incorrectly. I no longer trust Amazon. It has lost it's reputation and it has thieves working for the company.

Great costume at a very affordable price. Good quality material, fit and finish . Best if you or one size larger than regular fit.

My son had his heart set on being Blackbeard so I bought it despite the bad reviews. It was as bad as people said. Worth about $5 - $10.

It is very cheap and does not look right not worth the money. My son hated it and it was itchy.
