K&NCold Air Intake System: High-Flow Air Filter, Increase Performance & Towing: Compatible with 2018-2025 JEEP, Gladiator, Wrangler, Wrangler JL, 63-1576

I have no mechanical experience changing anything out. I took a chance, and with the help of a few YT instructional vids, I was able to change this out. I am so happy with this install!The directions it came with were ok, but the videos found online helped more.Make sure you have all the right tools.You'll need:Trim removal toolFlathead screwdriverAdjustable wrenchSockets 10mm & 8mmTorx bits: T30, T20Allen head: 5/32Adaptors may be needed for the socketsRemoving the old air intake was one of the main challenges I encountered. I had virtually no issues with installing the new one.Challenges were (I have a Jeep JL):Removing grill without scratching it on the aftermarket front bumper (I only had about a 3/4 of an inch gap to work with).Removing air intake air temperature sensor while being careful with it.Overall, I am very happy with this. It also makes my Jeep sound way better and a little meaner.

Was a very easy install, took about two hours by myself. I’m not super auto inclined but the instructions were clear. I did end up using a YouTube video to remove my 2024 gladiators stock intake. But the instructions to assemble this one was fine. I love the way the stainless steel looks gives it a more aggressive sound for sure.

Make a huge difference on 3.6 Wrangler. The throaty sound is just perfect not too loud. Ive had a number of different intakes over time this has been the best one Ive purchased from the airflow to the sound and performance.

While I didn’t get any perceivable change in mileage (wasn’t expecting any), I did get a great sound and maybe a touch more power at the high end of the RPM range. Install was easy although the instructions could have been better. The air temp sensor fitting is not good though and I get a check engine code once ever 500 miles or so. I push it back in and it clears only to repeat itself again.Edit: Check engine was do to the fan failing (at less than 10k miles). CAI is great and I have had no issues 20k miles later.

It’s an easy install. I’m seeing some reviews that say you need to remove the grill. This is not my experience on a 2018 Rubicon 3.6l. Nice sound for sure. I have a long trip in Oct to Moab ,Utah I’ll know then about gas mileage improvement

2024 Rubicon. Nice fit, easy install. Sounds nice, good growl.

Highly recommend this, it’s true you can feel the torque more and gas savings is there too, horsepower and the sound is amazing!!

Easy install took me about 45 mins. Installed on a my 2024 Gladiator. Really add a growl when you stop on the gas.
