Good solution for my problem
I had to get this product to replace the stock plastic wind resistor in my 2006 MX-5 that broke. This wind resistor is definitely high quality and sturdy. It is larger than the stock product, and does not fold down - it is permanent, as the product description states. It was not difficult to install - I only ran into one glitch with the the harness brackets that need to be inserted into the resistor at its base. The fit is too tight, and I was reluctant to use any lubricant on the plastic harness bracket in case it was corrosive. So I resorted to using a rubber mallet to get the part in place. The good news is that I got the harness bracket in far enough for it to fit on the car, but it was a bit of a chore, and I was constantly fearful of damage to the plastic bracket as I was pounding on it.The resistor works well, but the etching, while translucent, does get in the way of some visibility when checking over your shoulder. Wind noise is reduced a bit, and there is definitely less swirl in the cabin when driving top down. Overall, though the part works fine, and looks very nice. I would have preferred the Mazda logo or MX-5 instead of Miata, but I really didn't have a choice in the matter - sometimes we have to just settle for a good price...

Great looking and easy to install
Bought it for a road trip (over 5k miles) and was glad to have it. It looks great and is very easy to install. Definitely helped with reducing the wind in the cockpit. Well made with very thick plexiglass and the engraving looks supper.

I would recommend this product
Was relativity to install, wired it to a switch so I can have it turn on whenever my lights are on, or just have it come on with my break lights. it's different, haven't seen another MX5 with this addition. I would recommend this product
