This is a beautiful instrument! No sacrificing sound quality for size. Perfect sound like that of my full size trumpet. So convenient to travel with.

I love this little horn. It doesn't seem possible that such a big sound could come from a pocket trumpet, but it does. There are places in the range where sound control requires more concentration, but over all everything is just fine. I plan to take it along for inevitable hours in airports. A practice mute won't fit into the case, but will go elsewhere. Btw-I saved around $100 by getting this through Amazon rather from other sellers.

I am mainly a cornet and flugelhorn player but wanted to round out the trifecta with a trumpet. I generally find trumpets to be too loud and brassy so I wanted something 'fun' to play around with. I tend to over-research my purchases and that led me to this pocket trumpet. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and sound of this little horn. For a Chinese made horn this is remarkably well made. I had read some reviews that the valves were a bit sticky but I have found the opposite to be true. I put a couple of drops of valve oil on each valves upon opening the box and a week later the valves are still lightning fast and whisper quiet. As another reviewer noted there is a bit more backpressure on some notes (due to the extra bends in the tubing) but nothing you won't adjust to after a few hours of practice. The black nickel finish is quite lovely as well. Very pleased, highly recommend. Being a bit realistic with four star rating, this is not a Bach-Strad but if you are in the market for a pocket trumpet, this is the one to have.

It was just what we wanted.No problems with it.It sounds just like his regular trumpet.Would buy again.

The valves actuate very smoothly. I've had this and played it after for over 2 years and it's still working great. It plays a little differently than a full size horn (there's a little more backpressure) but it only takes a few minutes to get used to. Overall, it's a lot of fun to take camping and vacationing.

Just got this as an early Christmas present from my grandparents, and I love it. It has great tone through all of the notes you would regularly play but once you get down to the double low g then it starts to get a little fuzzy, but then so do most regular trumpets. The case is amazing quality and is worth 100$ by it self. I seriously recommend this for anyone who plays trumpet beginner or advanced.

This is the best pocket trumpet, I've every played, the sound is unbelievable. I recommend this trumpet too any trumpet player.
