I installed this today and it took me about an hour. Would have been quicker but I was in and out of the house grabbing tools and coffee.The good...1. Install is easy if you have the right tools and read the instructions, Youtube videos exist so if you need more direction just google Jeep Gladiator K&N Cold Air Intake Install.2. The motor growls when you hit the throttle! I do not want the full sound of an aftermarket exhaust but the stock intake makes no sound at all. If you are looking for a nice growl without being obnoxious (IMO) this is the way to go.3. Throttle response is noticeable better but not sure how much of that is associated with the sound, it could be a Jedi mind trick.4. This is handmade in the USA!1 (according to the box)The bad...1. Other brands do not require you take the grill off and remove the air inlet tube behind. This is not a big deal if you are familiar with removing the grill but it still adds time to the overall install.2. I have had other vehicles with CAIs and sometimes at low rpms they can feel sluggish. Overall they add HP and I believe they are worth it but it is something to keep in mind.I still rate this as 5 stars despite these very small issues.

All you JT folks don't sleep on this modification, very easy to install, and sounds amazing nice growl for the 3.6

Shipped quickly and was as advertised. Installed myself in about 45 mins. Sleek look and very throaty tuff sound. Love it!

Fairly easy install of about 45 minutes and produces a noticeable kick when accelerating and a much throatier engine sound. Would recommend!

Installation into a JL jeep was relatively easy, except had to pop off the grille to get the old air tubes out. Installation of this new one is seamless and make the car sound FANTASTIC! Puts a smile on my face every time I hit the accelerator. BUY IT! You will not be disappointed, and don't spend double the money to buy the MOPAR one.

K&N never fails!! It's awesome and I get 3 miles more to a gallon, and it sounds sick!! Love it!!!

Easy to install, impressive changes into the way the engine sounds and performs. Only complaint is the installation instructions, need to be a bit more definitive on the removal process of the OEM parts.

Missing grommet (item D) for intake tube mounted sensorIntake tube (item C) connection to airbox (item J) really poor fit. Significant gap, does not pull up snugI emailed K&N Customer services direct twice asper the instructions on included data sheet. No reply. Very poor and incredibly disappointing.Ended up being a time consuming frustrating installation having to improvise adapt to make fit for purpose.

I got a big surprise after installing this. It sounds so much better than I thought it would. Great build quality. No drone sounds. As soon as you start pushing the transmission a bit that's when you hear your engine sound completely different. It roars.

Installed it on my gladiator and I love it the sound it adds is awesome and I can definitely feel some performance increases so I very much happy with the product

I don’t know whether this product increases power, but it certainly increases induction noise under throttle. Other Jeepers wonder which motor my Wrangler has installed. It may be too much for some people, but if that's a problem then don't buy this product.Actually it is not quite a V8 sound, but an oddly similar uneven note. Very noticeable.Rather than throwing away the OEM Cold Air Intake (which provides cold air under the OEM air box) as per K&N assembly instructions, it is possible to cut the OEM CAI pipe to fit into an added hole cut into the side of the K&N air box. The result is then an actual ram air fed CAI for the K&N air box. See photos for details.
