We needed two specific hole saw sizes for a project we were working on. It cost around $6-$9 to buy each one individually. This set cost about the same as buying two or three hole saws bits individually, so a no brainer to spend a few extra bucks on it and get a full set.Worked really well for our project. Quality set of tools that made short work of plywood and thinner materials, and held up more than respectably against some thicker, harder woods it had to get through.Items arrive covered in a bit of oil/grease within the plastic tool box... probably to prevent them from rusting in a moist environment. Will have to wait and see how they hold up to the elements where I live and whether or not rusting could become a factor. Box is sturdy and has slots to store everything.Very happy with this purchase, a great value.

This worked pretty well with my battery powered drill when cutting smaller sized holes. I tried the 5" bit and it did drill into the wood, but my drill wasn't strong enough to get all the way through the plyboard. I have an impact drill, but the bits are too big to fit, so I had to use my dremel to cut the rest of the way through the plyboard.Overall, not bad for the price - just make sure you have a strong drill if you're going to be cutting a lot of 4-5" holes.

The set is good and functional. It only came in a beat-up, greasy box as if it was a second hand set.I used it to make holes for rain barrel taps and it worked fine s I did not return it.

A single 3" hole saw and arbor can cost $20 at Home Depot, so this set is dramatically cheaper. It is also not very reliable.It comes with two arbors, each for different hole saw bits. The smaller arbor + bits worked for me twice. The pilot bit broke off the larger arbor the first time I tried to use it to drill a 3" hole. I was drilling at an odd angle, so that was probably a contributing factor.Baby it and you'll probably get your project done.

I found the product to work better than I expected. Once I remembered the nut turns in the opposite direction. I needed to drill 5 holes from 2 inches to 5 inches. I ordered based on other reviews on Saturday and it arrived Sunday-can't complain about that! What struck me was how easy the different sizes worked and ease of changing sizes. I am very pleased with the quality and will keep this company in mind for future purchases. Definitely worth the money and this is a recommended buy!!

I ordered this kit to drill two holes in order to install a new faucet and sink. The wood was soft pine, nothing too hard. The first time I went to use this I couldn't even finish the first hole before the pilot portion of the bit broke off. I'm lucky I was down far enough in the hole that it didnt come out of the hole.Then as I was using the other pilot bit the actual hole saw itself would not stay on the pilot (it kept coming loose) and the hole saw itself dulled out and failed before I could finish the second hole.There's a reason this item is so inexpensive. Don't bother wasting your time, frustration or the money - spend better money for a better product because this one is extremely dangerous and poorly made.

To be honest, for the cost I thought it would be a "one and done", boy was I was wrong! The saws are sharp and easy to use. I had to cut vents in the toe kick of my kitchen cabs, they worked beautifully. I then gave them to my son to use at his place, I haven't gotten them back yet, he loves them. Bottom line, great tool for the money.
