Snake Bite Kit Venom Extractor Suction Pump Bee Sting Kit, Green

Bought this for my granddaughter’s internship where she would be in untamed land. Made me feel safer.

Impressive what has been packed into this little bag! I now have two of these. I like that it has room to add some of the things I like to have on hand in case of an emergency. Nicely made and has compartments for organizing. I am not impressed with the bite extractor in this kit. It not great quality and was a little difficult to use. It does work, however.

I purchased this kit over a year ago because it includes a snake bite kit that many first aid kits do not have. I really like the compact zipper design, the American Red Cross like red coloring, and the easy to access pouches. I had not needed to use it until recently. I am so thankful to have had this in my car!The bandage, wipes, and gauze were quickly used up on an injury. My mother fell and scraped the skin off of her knee. The contents were enough to absorb and clean up the first couple minutes of bleeding.I had already added some extra wipes into the kit, but they weren't even enough as the wound's bleeding continued. Thankfully a sheriff was nearby and gave us a 4 inch bandage.I then used the bandage wrap to secure the gifted bandage and compress the wound until we reached our destination about an hour away to clean the wound further.The tape included did not stick to the bandage wrap at all, it's useless, I already tossed it.For future use I am adding self adhesive bandage wrap, large 5×6(+) bandages, more guaze, many more wipes, various medicine packets, and topical ointments for various issues.I would like to add even more to my traveling first aid kit like hot and cold compresses, wound disinfectant spray, etc, but need more room. I would love a design like this, 4 inch binder sized when closed with a handle and water proof would be a great feature too! I will look around more, but really wish it looked like this!Thanks again for the help in having the basics when I needed it. It is so much easier to remain calm seeing a family member's blood, knowing you have a kit to assist nearby!

Hello,This product is as the seller described.I haven’t had a chance to use this product as of yet… though I honestly hope I don’t have to… I don’t care for a snakebite.The item I like the most is the suction device. I’m “old school” where I would’ve had to make small incisions and suck out the venom…NOT GOOD if you have cuts in your mouth or physically flexible enough to reach a bite.In my opinion, the plus with the suction device is that it should be easier to reach “most” snakebites to remove the venom… unlike the “old school” method.Again… I hope I never have to use this product, but good to have and not need… than not have and need.Note: Don’t forget to take it with you if you’re out and about where you may encounter one of those slithery things.
