The amount of velcro attached to this sock-tie is very limited, and the length of the strap is quite short, am using them on a boy aged10yrs, but even then the fixing is not brilliant. Am keeping them as the u11's season is finishing soon, but will not be re-ordering

Waste of time. Save your money. If the manufacturer made the Velcro strip longer on the straps it would be better so you could tighten them more especially if you’ve thinner legs, then they may just hold up your socks. Didn’t work for me. All it’s needed maybe is a small adjustment. Binned.

I use these when my kids wear waterproof trousers and put the bands over their legs and boots to stop water getting in.they work well but are a bit big so have put a knot in them to shorten them slightly
