Surgial precision and strong grip
10/10Works way better than any standard key puller. Used it to replace switches on my keyboard. So quick, so easy, the wide side make it easier to grab the switch and apply pressure without hurting the fingers.Highly recommend.

Great for (most) hot swap keyboards
DISCLAIMER: This this product is not intended to be used as a keyboard switch puller but many people do purchase it for that purpose. This review is solely based on mechanical keyboard key switch pulling as that is what I use it for.Overall this extractor is probably the best thing you can get for removing key switches from a hot swap keyboard (or removing de-soldered switches from a mounting plate). There is however two downsides, one being quite critical. The biggest problem with using this extractor is if your keyboard has a high profile case, or a non-exposed switch design. The large profile of the extractor makes it difficult (or impossible) to get around a switch to push in the plastic tabs on the switch housing. For me this is only a problem on the numeric row (R5) at the top of my board. Similarly, if you are trying to extract only a single switch (only removing a single key cap) the extractor will run into neighboring key caps and you won't be able to extract the switch. This is the only major flaw when using this extractor of key switch pulling. The other minor issue is the potential to damage the key switch housing. This is more so a flaw of the switches themselves not really being designed to be pulled in and out. When pulling out a key switch you use the metal prongs on the extractor to push in the plastic tabs that secure the switch to the mounting plate. These tabs are are only plastic and have potential to be over-worked and in many switches I have extracted, the plastic tabs do not spring back out like they are supposed to. Once again, this is not really the fault of the extractor but it is something to look out for when pulling switches. This extractor is great when you are looking to quickly pull all the switches out of a board. The extractor has enough rigidity to spring back open so you can easily drop an extracted switch and start extracting another one. Highly recommend for anyone with a hot-swap board.

Works OK.
I use these to unplug the tiny plugs on model trains. I'm afraid one day I'll yank the tiny wires out of the plugs. Just wish they weren't so stiff to move but they do the job.

Very helpful tool
The media could not be loaded. I needed these sooooo bad. My fat little sausage fingers have a hard time gripping these tiny jst connectors. These keep me from pulling wires out all the time. Highly recommend!!

Was recommended for a keyboard switch puller, did okay-ish....
These were suggested to me to replace the strange c-shaped keyboard switch pullers that come with some modular keyboards. I did like the fact these seemed narrower and had a sort of rubberized grip, but I did end up going back to the c-shaped pullers instead. The rubberized grips didn't actually add to any comfort when it came to using these. If anything, it actually made it slightly more uncomfortable for me. The small tips worked for the most part for switch pulling, but they did slowly deform over the time of use. I ended up just bending them back in to make them work again. I also broke a few of the switch housings with these, which had never happened with the c-shaped pullers. Finally, there was a few clearance issues with the pullers, as those same rubberized grips made the pullers a little bulkier and they were unable to get into some tighter spaces, which had me reaching for the c-shaped pullers again.Probably wouldn't buy these again.

Skip the rama puller, get this instead.
As someone deep into the keyboard hobby, getting a solid keycap puller that won't damage your keyboard is a must. These are super rigid and pull switches out with ease, without leaving any kind of scratches on the plate. Would highly recommend, and the fact it comes with 2 is even better.

The real thing
Tried a number of pliers for my keyboard switches, these pliers are the best for the job. It makes the whole process so easy and no more damaged switches like I had with other pliers.
