Crankcase Vent Oil Separator Trap Hose Update Repair Kit (PCV) for SAAB 9-3 9-5

My 2000 9-3 was put out of commission when I noticed oil dripping directly onto the catalytic converter, causing smoke and concern of a fire. I didn't realize I didn't have the latest rev of the crankcase vent kit so I upgraded. Installed easily and the car is running smoothly.Tips: go ahead and order the 55560445 and 55560463 Breather Hoses -- the smaller hose had a hole in it where it was leaking onto the cat and the larger hose cracked when removing it from the nipple. Do NOT order the third hose because this kit replaces it entirely.

Have to google install because there aren't any install instructions but it does fit. PIA to install, power wash the engine bay before you start.

Fits my 2000 Saab 9-3.Fairly simple to install, but it would have been difficult/impossible without raising the car.

I had this kit installed and have not had any problems. Time will tell if this kit will work but so far so good.

Fit like was supposed too .
