Thetford 33206 Left Holding Tank

Fortunately, I could use a composite of all the past review comments to be sure to order the correct tank. I believe they use this same picture for the model that slides in on the opposite side which leads to many needed returns. So, use the above pictures to confirm your tank has the pour spout in this exact location. To accommodate other needs the company apparently can reverse the vent and pour spout and use all the same equipment. But I would encourage people to buy the correct/exact replacement tank when ordering a tank.I have found it is a heavy tank to carry to a dump location when full of water, etc. I will appreciate the new added feature of wheels and a folding handle to more easily tote it there.This replacement tank exactly fits the slot that accommodated the former tank. Someone said they had to remove the wheels, but this was not the case for me. The wheels and handle will be a greatly appreciated upgrade.I worried about getting the wrong tank and I hope people benefit from my pictures. I thank those who provided prior reviews for explaining that a left-handed (LH) tank means that when you are sitting on the throne, the tank slides in from your left side. Since in countries like Australia they are confused and drive on the wrong side of the road, the toilet might need to be on the wrong side which means some of these tanks would therefore need to be the opposite of where they might be in the US and Canada.This seems like a very good tank and at a good price. A few years ago, I noted that they were selling for about $300. Since my tank was made in 2004 and has needed periodic major repairs (with fabricated parts) it makes sense to upgrade to an all-new tank that should work well. I found that some Vaseline on the slider track for opening and closing the round black plug helped immensely. I found a Q-tip was the ideal method to get the Vaseline to the track to do the lubrication. I will save the old tank for spare parts should they ever be needed (lost cap, etc.) as repair parts are quite expensive.Let me know if this rather lengthy comment is helpful. First off, to order the correct one of these holding tanks people are helpfully saying to picture yourself sitting on your camper toilet. Now point to the direction that your cassette holding tank would come out. If you pointed to your left, then you need a LH or left hand tank which is this one. Even easier however, if you have the old tank. Flip it upside down and there should be a label which has "LH" or "RH" for left hand or right hand. This is the left hand model 33206. I've attached a picture of what was actually delivered to me which was perfect. This one also included wheels and a fold out handle which are great for transporting this thing. The wheels and handle do not get in the way. It still fits exactly like one without the wheels and handle. This is an excellent replacement for the old holding tank.

I have a 2006 Camper with a Thetford Cassette C2 Toilet. Mine is a left hand model. If you don't know what yours is, pretend you are on the toilet, now which side would the dump box come out from ? The 33206 is a left, the 33205 is the right. The picture for the 33206 is not correct I think it is a right model picture, but when shipped it was the correct left model. Fit perfect into the camper. Very happy.

This came on time and not damaged. It was a pinch snug from the original but it fits well. This one has wheels and a handle which the original didn't have, which makes it easier to carry to the dump station. It opens and closes nicely when you need to use it.

This will work as a left or right, just have to switch vent and drain tube
