Easy to apply and great finish - not cheap- but the best

I've read a lot about Sikkens and had been recommended this by a friend, so perhaps i had over thought how good this product was before using it. I really did think it was going to be the all singing all dancing stain. First of all i am not a professional, i was staining the bannister, i found my technique had changed and the more i did the better it looked, in comparison to Ronseal which is my go to stain, its no better or worse. Feel and touch for a finished product is good.

Good brand and the right one for my use. Price ok, box was severely damaged in the delivery process. The can wasn't open and didn't hurt the product so didn't need to return. Would be better if it was packaged better as it was just put in a flimsy box with no padding.

It is not easy to use and apply at all. The fumes from the product are powerful. So it is difficult to achieve the finish hoped for. I would not recommend unless you have a lot of experience using this type of product. I used it for a wooden (quality) garden gate and it is so disappointing. I took great care, checked what to do... so no, don't! There has to be something else out there that will do a better job.

J'ai commandé cette lasure pour rénover des volets en bois. produit conforme et emballage soigneux. le délais est un peu long car vient de GB mais le prix compense l'attente. Marchand sérieux.

Die Farbe ist zwar teuer, aber besser einmal richtig investieren und man hat auf die Dauer viel Ärger und Geld gespart.Die Farbe ist leicht zu verarbeiten und sollte ( vorausgesetzt man steht nicht auf Lösemittelgeruch ) gut lüften.Die Trocknungszeiten weichen je nach Witterung und Temperatur etwas ab, dass ist aber völlig normal.Insgesamt eine sinnvolle Investition, die man auf Dauer zu schätzen lernt!
