Ordered from Amazon but came from Khol's . Well packed and easy install if you follow the direction from Generac. So far so good but I think $500.00 is crazy ! Next time I'll have to look for a compatible replacement

The battery is a wet cell, which I knew. I had a hard time sourcing a 26R locally. This replaced a sealed 3-year battery, which is no longer available. I made a note to myself to check the fluid level in a year, using distilled water. What will be available in two years is the next question. Another is whether batteries will/can be delivered as this had to be delivered by third-party carrier.

I was getting 1505 error cod... the generator was installed 7 years ago.... so it was logical that the original battery life is up. Ordered this and installed it (no instructions though... kind see thru the pants style). All good and generator fired up....

Battery was delivered quickly. The big issue was the battery leaked in the box, concerned that it will reduce battery life. Sent notification to the seller but they never responded. A true black mark on the company

So far so good Insalled about 3 weeks ago. Seems to work very good.

Yikes!This battery showed up to my house in a soaking wet box. I opened the box and all packing materials were drenched. I thought the box had been left out in the rain. I took it out to my garage to let settle. It kept leaching over the next 3 days. Come to find out the box wasn't in the rain. The battery terminals are not properly sealed and this battery leaked sulfuric acid in pools on my garage floor burning a massive hole in my prestine decorated epoxy finished floors.Other reviews on this item seem solid. Maybe I got unlucky with careless shipping. Accept my refund request at the very least if not compensate me for my damages and I'll pull down this negative review.Super bummer!!

received my new generator battery quickly, it was fully charged and was easy to install. the only problem i have is that I don't know what to do with old battery, usually when you buy at a store they take old and recycle?
