No more constant bending over to lift your dumbbells as the BodyMax Dumbbell Hooks can be attached to a bar which allows you to lift from a safer position. Great for heavy upper body work using Dumbbells.

Great, but take a while to get used to
These aren't bad but take a little getting used to. I have an Olympic bar on my rack then hang these with the dumbbells attached from it. I've tried them out with Olympic, standard and adjustable dumbbells and they work perfectly with all of them. It feels like having fat grips attached to the dumbbells so initial use I would go considerably lighter than you're used to just so you get the feel. That said once you’ve got used to these you may find you’ll lift heavier as you won’t be wasting energy trying to get your dumbbells in the start position from the floor. Overall a good purchase if you're a regular user of dumbbells for pressing movements.

Very good. Year on and still strong
Pretty awesome for the price. Can load the barbells while on the hooks. No more flicking the weights off my knees(got to painful) Managed to get 41kg on each hook which has opened up my free weights training at home. Only problem is the bar that goes under the handle hurts like hell on heavy lifts. By the time I'm on 6 reps the annoying pain in my palm hurts but I'm sure I'll get accustomed to it. Over all very happy. Takes some getting use to but well worth the time. Edit a year on. The grips wasn't any good so I simply used some fat grip. Better than ever. I literally can't get any more weight on them. 46kg each hook.

What can I say....fantastic product.
This product is 5 star all the way. The value for money is excellent compared to other providers of these hooks on this site. Some retail these for £45 which is what put me off in the first place. Now the product review. For 25 years I've lifted heavy including squats and deadlifts. Now my back is totally shot at the age of 47 but I still train around my injured back safely and wisely (!) 3-4 times a week. So lifting a pair of dumbbells from the floor is an absolute no go....so I stopped training with bells 2 years ago and missed it. Then I discovered these! What a revelation! No-more lifting from the floor. There is a down side however but one that can be overcome. Dropping your dumbbells with the hooks on when your exhausted is a no go, so you may still require a spotter. Consequently, if like me you train alone then attach these to heavy duty chains suspended from your powercage and you can force out every last rep to failure in complete and utter confidence without dropping them onto the floor. When you have finished just get up and walk away and they are still suspended on the chains ready for the next time. You can even change your poundage whislt they are either suspended or rack them onto the front spotters of the cage. If you want to see this setup in action, take a look on Youtube. If it is no longer there, then there are various links onto bodybuilding forums that have pictures and videos up loaded. There are lots of rubbish products out there. This is not one of them. Invaluable product at a great price.I hope this review helps. Be wise and train safe!

Invaluable..slight improvement needed for comfort.
Good for there intention..would have given. 5 but the edge of the metal plate that holds the dumbbell can dig into the side of your finger..but I do uses these every time I’m going heavy and they defo do the job...wouldn’t lift heavy without them now..great idea..also safer than trying too lift dumbbells from your knee up onto shoulders or bench press..👍

Simple & effective
Simple & effective, these are exactly what I have been waiting for. Will help immensely when training, they seem pretty strong, so should handle a fair amount of weight.Well thought out design idea, top marks!

Quality is ok but not sure if these are really useful.
The hooks are sturdy enough to hold even very heavy dumbbells. The little rubber ends came off on first use so worth glueing them on. My reservation about these isn'the the product quality so much as that they just aren't as good an idea as they seem. It's difficult to set up a bar in just the right place to support them but not get in the way of the movement.

although the horizontal metal piece (on top of which you put the dumbbell) becomes painful on the hand when using heavy weights
These hooks do the job, although the horizontal metal piece (on top of which you put the dumbbell) becomes painful on the hand when using heavy weights. Nonetheless, the hooks work well enough

Great delivery and does exactly what you want
If you are lifting on your own get these. Simple as that. Great delivery and does exactly what you want. Watch some you tube videos to get the idea. You do need a cage or rack to allow them to hang off your bar.
