This is one of the best peelers I have used and a noticeable upgrade from older ones.It is very sharp and works quickly, making peeling much easier. sharp enough to get through the peel of butternut which is what I wanted. I loved the part that takes out the eyes of potatoes. The grip is wonderful. This peeler and well-made and should stay sharp and last for years (as long as you don't put it in the dishwasher-just rinse and put away).

EXCELLENT!!!! I had several peelers, including that stirrup-style one and they just were poor at peeling potatoes and carrots. I eat a LOT of carrots. Even my dogs eat carrots, they love them and beg when I'm making a salad.I replaced all my peelers and ordered this OXO peeler and I absolutely love it.The grip is easy to hold (I'm older, and ergonomic is key for arthritis.)The blade is nice and sharp, made short work of my carrots.It didn't want to nick my knuckles by being too wide.It's easy to manipulate safely.It's supposed to be rust-resistant, but that means, probably, you should dry it after you wash it.RECOMMENDED

My daughter has this OXO peeler. Recently I used hers and was amazed at how much better it worked than my generic brand one, so I bought this OXO peeler for myself. My old one was fairly new, yet the OXO still peeled much better. The grip is great, it has a solid feel to it, and it slices a wider peel than my old one. Since I eat a lot of raw carrots and apples, I appreciate having a good peeler. I highly recommend the OXO Good Grips Swivel Peeler

Not bad. Sometimes a bit of skin gets stuck in the side of the peeler but most of the time it works fine.

I only wish I had bought this peeler earlier!!! It is the easiest to use that I have ever owned!!! It fits in your hand very comfortably and the blades are super sharpe. I would give it a 10 star rating if I could!

I bought my first one back in 2005—a long time ago—and it was still working until recently. The blade finally broke, but it was still usable! I just bought a new one, and I hope it lasts just as long.It's frustrating to live in a world where so many products are no longer made to last. That said, this is still the best peeler I've ever used. Here in Colombia, it's almost impossible to find peelers that are sharp enough, durable, and comfortable to hold. This one checks all the boxes.

I bought one of these years and years ago for my late FIL, who had neuropathy in his hands after chemo. A standard peeler was painful for him to hold, so I nipped in to Bed, Bath & Beyond to find him something, and this is what I found. It stayed sharp for a long time, and it came to me when FIL died. It eventually was too dull to ignore, and BB&B is all gone, so I went hunting online, and found it here. Ta dah!!! My arthritic hands LOVE the thing, and I'm happy I once again have the sharp version...

For years, YEARS I have been going to my brothers and occasionally helping peel the odd vegetable. I always LOVED his potato peeler. I hinted again and again that I REALLY, REALLY wanted the exact same peeler because literally I loved it. Anyway fast forward to this Christmas and I was peeling vegetables at my brothers again and loving his potato peeler as per usual. And I’m like YOU KNOW WHAT I’m finding it. I’m getting it. I need this. So I reverse image search his potato peeler and LO AND BEHOLD there it is. On the Amazon. Now I don’t get my hopes up too much because I’m used to disappointment in my life. BUT it arrives and I say to my family “WE ARE HAVING MASH TONIGHT I HAVE A NEW POTATO PEELER I HAVE TO TRY IT OUT”. So I get it out the packaging and I’m trembling with excitement. I start to peel and IT IS THE SAME. Oh my goodness I was so happy. I called my child in to use it, I asked my partner to use it. “IT’S SO EASY TO USE YOU GUYS I AM THROWING MY OLD POTATO PEELER AWAY”. And I kid you not, every time I peel a vegetable now, in my very own home, I am having a great time. This is the best potato peeler in the world ever. YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIVES IT WILL COMPLETE YOU AND ALL YOUR VEGETABLE PEELING NEEDS. FIVE STARS!!

Super éplucheur. Habituellement , au bout d'un petit temps d’épluchage, ma main se luxe et devient douloureuse. Avec cet éplucheur, rien de tel. Il est vraiment agréable en main. Cela change ma vie (du moins ma vie en cuisine)!
