To the negative reviewer complaining about it dying after 2 months....I’ll gladly by 6 of these a year if it continues helping my cacti grow like they have been(I’m always skeptical of negative reviews on here, do they know how to solder?)I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to this stuff....plants or the types of LED’s to use for them.But hooking this up, very easy if you have even the most basic soldering skills down.AND THE COLORS! CRI? I snapped a pic to send to a friend and the colors were so vibrant....but like I said, no idea what I’m doing, just stoked to see results.

Great DIY COBs, best I've found for price.
4 of these appears to be as bright as my 3000watt Fine Est or not far behind size for size and watt for watt it beats it and the Fine Est 3000 is a light that's hard to find anything to compare to it even. And if the power consumption is as low as they say, great little COB for the money. Have had 1 going 24/7 for over a month now and still running strong. Just need to ensure you bond it to a good heat sink or bad and keep a fan on it, they do get warm/hot if the heat is not dissipated correctly.

Bright light, convenient as no LED driver is needed (plug into 110V directly). fairly easy soldering the leads to this COB.Gets extremely hot immediately, needs a very good cooler ( I used an old AMD CPU cooler with fan)Spectrum is decent, hope it'll last but a good starting point for an LED grow light noob like me.

Would be great if it lasted.
50w driverless cob chip was pretty bright. Plants loved it. Too bad it only lasted about 2 months before it died. Also, if you decide to buy this or something like it, get a reflector and lense setup, or you'll be wasting a ton of output.

Recieved differed led then advertised/ordered.
Recieved a 40x60 not 40x62. Par is lower than I expected from using these in the past. Backplate was not flat, required sanding to get a good surface to mate to the heat sink.
