Quiet, pretty dry pulp, but juice has more pulp than I'm used to, and instructions are lacking
I'll start by saying I'm not a daily juicer or juicing expert, but I have used a few different juicers over the years. I got a Breville BJS600XL Fountain Crush Masticating Slow Juicer about six years ago, which is nearly identical to the Kuvings NS-940 Silent Upright Masticating Juicer that I also have. I like them much better than the Breville BJE200XL centrifugal juicer that I bought originally. Granted, they cost quite a bit more than the $100 centrifugal juicer, but they work much better for me. They are quieter, and I also find them to be much, much easier to clean because they don't have sharp edges anywhere.Enter this Homever masticating juicer, which currently (as I write this) costs $10 less than that centrifugal juicer. I like this better than the centrifugal for sure - by far better than that one. This has a similar design to the Breville and Kuvings masticating juicers, although the base unit (with the motor) is smaller on this one, as are the juice and pulp containers. The juicing assembly is a little bit different, too, but it's very similar to those other two juicers. I like it almost as much as those more expensive masticating juicer, but this one seems to let more pulp through into the juice. That's personal preference, as some people like more pulp. I happen to like less. That's the only reason that I "like" and don't "love" this juicer. It's equally easy to clean, and there aren't any sharp edges to worry about. The quality of the materials and the design are very good.Outside of the extra pulp in the juice (and they are little bits that get through the filter, not some fundamental design flaw in the seals), I think it works very well. It's quiet, it produces fairly dry pulp (which is awesome compared to the centrifugal that always had wet pulp when I used it), and it extracts a good amount of juice. That's really all that I ask out of a juicer. The instructions definitely would have benefited from some proof reading. There are instructions in multiple languages, and the diagram showing the contents for the English section labels the items in Italian. It's easy to figure out from the pictures, but I'm also familiar with this style of juicer, so it might be more difficult if you've never used one. Also, the instructions mention different speed settings and a display readout on the main unit - neither of those exist. There is no display, and there's only one speed. They must have reused that part of the instructions from some other juicer. So, even though the instructions mention multiple speeds and a display, this is very easy to use. You just turn it on, and it starts spinning (and if it doesn't make sure that the top lid is rotated fully into the locked position - the unit won't run if it isn't). You then put your slices of chunks of fruits/vegetables into the top feed shoot, and it grinds the pieces up, with juice coming out one spout and pulp coming out the other. There is a reverse speed option on the switch, and it won't lock into place (it only runs in reverse as long as you hold the switch in). You probably won't use that very often, but it's in case food gets bound up.When I ordered this, I didn't have experience with the brand. I honestly was expecting a cheaply made, junky juicer. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the machine, the packaging, and the performance. Yes, the instructions aren't great, but the machine is a good one. Only time will tell if the motor holds up, but nothing about it feels "cheap." For $90, I think it's a better deal then the $100 Breville centrifugal juicer.

just OK, great for citrus, space saving, cutting/cleaning a drag, instructions poorly translated
I also own a Breville centrifugal juicer but was curious about other juicers because my other juicer doesn't do wheat grass and I had heard about how slow masticating juicers do a more complete job of juicing and preserve ore nutrients and enzymes so wanted to try this one. On the plus side, this juicer takes up less space on my counter than my Breville and the pulp did seem a little drier. But that is where the positives end since I have no way to measure nutrients or enzymes for comparison. My complaints are as follows on this juicer. It doesn't seem that strong, I found it difficult to clean, the instructions were poorly translated into English, and I hate all the cutting up of everything I have to do to fit it into the chute. Baby carrots went well but larger carrots that were more woody inside it had a harder time with. Softer stuff like cucumber and berries went well but pineapple was a bit too much for the pulp chute. It had a hard time with celery (stringy clogs in chute), didn't do anything with wheat grass, and I was disappointed in how it did with leafy greens too. I really liked how it juiced citrus though, so big kudos there. All in all this is just an okay juicer for me, depends on what you want to juice, if you are willing to do all the cutting, if you have the patience for cleaning the mesh and around that rubber piece, and if this is all you can afford. I hate to say it I am going back to my Breville.

Overall I like this juicer, but it has some drawbacks
Overall, after three weeks I like this juicer. So far it juiced everything I put in it, it has a small footprint and fits under the cabinet. Cleaning is about as easy as any juicer - you have to deal with produce stuck in the mesh. Manual needs to be reworked.Juicing: I juiced oranges, baby carrots, celery, apples, pineapple, beets, ginger and spinach. Celery needs to be cut into smaller pieces, or juicer may get cliogged with fibers. It struggles with pineapple even though I removed core and cut it in smaller chunks. Pineapple fibers get stuck in the pulp chute, so I used an occasional carrot to push things through, but still, juicing pineapple was s bit of an unpleasant experience. There is a little foam on the juice, but seems to be less than what I had with the centrifugal juicer. If you put cold oranges into the juicer, the juice comes out cold, so no heating from the speed. The pulp comes out pretty dry, so I think the juicer is quite efficient.Cleaning: taking apart is easy. The included brush is enough to remove pulp and fibers from the mesh and tight parts of the juicer. After removing pulp, I wash all parts after every use with a bigger softer brush and soap, and wipe base with wet paper towel.Manual: not well translated. English section parts page has parts names in Italian. Italian section has parts names in Italian too. Manual references juicer's display and beeps, none of which are applicable to this juicer.Quality: overall seems to be well made. One of the clear plastic cups that came with the juicer has a "dirty" line. I noticed it after the first use. I thought is was caused by carrots, but there is nothing that can remove it. I tried soap, vinegar, soda, Barkeeper's Friend, but nothing worked, which leads me to believe that the cup was stained before I used it. Also the second cup didn't develop stains after it was used to catch juice for the same produce. If it lasts, I would say I am happy with this machine.
