Be sure to verify if yours is AC or DC
CDI for 250cc motorcycle; Be certain to determine if your CDI is AC or DC. Also verify the plug type. CDI is automatic timing for the firing of the spark plugs. How your bike is wired will require a specific CDI unit. I am back on the road, and these are so economical that I may as well buy another one or two just to have on hand. Cause when they fail, you don't ride. Easy to swap out. Symptoms? Started being difficult to start, as if the battery was low, then would run a bit rough for a few miles till it warmed up. I thought it was a fuel issue. Then would quit if I let off the throttle, would barely move without 'goosing' the throttle. This was after new plug and fresh fuel.

Buyer beware do not purchase this if you need it for hawk250 or Taotao
This cdi does not work it is the wrong one, I wrote a review previously given it five stars, turns out that that was the wrong seller. I purchased these before this is a one star it’s not the right type of CDI. It’s the wrong type and it does not work it literally only allows 1 spark and then it doesn’t spark at all until you reengage the ignition. It is not a DC CDI. It’s not for the bike that it’s supposed to be for listed and it took me too long to catch that so I can’t get a return unfortunately all I can say is do not purchase this if you’re needing it for a TBR7D or any GC 250s/hawk 250
