THICK AND STURDY!!! AND LONG ENOUGH TO ACCOMMODATE LONG PLANT NAMES.
These are long enough to write a long plant name on them and still have enough to sink deep and secure into the soil... VERY thick and sturdy!!! I use 5.6mm lead mechanical pencils (available on Amazon) to write the name very dark on the slightly textured side so the lead will grab onto the plastic. Graphite pencils have been highly recommended to not fade or wear off. I researched to find a dark one because the regular #2 pencils were too light for me... That research resulted in the 5..6mm lead. LOVE IT!!! I flip the label over to the smooth side and again write the plant name, this time in a Black Artline Garden Marker which has been highly recommended to not fade. I used the Black Sharpie Extreme Markers last year and they have faded. So I have relabeled with the Artline Black Marker hoping for the best. I get Hostas large enough and ready for the Suffolk Master Gardener Association Plant Sale and so I am labeling hundreds of plants and I am hoping to find supplies that help me only have to do it only once for each plant!!! Lolol!!! These are FABULOUS and fairly economical...EDIT SPRING 2021The expensive garden marker I used has come off - faded to the point of being illegible. THANK GOODNESS I wrote the names in pencil on the back side of these labels!!! The pencil still looks new... It's not the marker since it has lasted perfectly on white, T-shaped plastic markers...

good length
Better than the small ones that are barely 4 inches long , with small space to write on. . A person cannot get all the plant information on the small ones. Plenty of length for information and to stick in pot or ground. They are also pretty thick for durability.

Good
These are great. Even using a sharpie they didn't hold the writing but someone told me to put masking tape and write on that. issue solved. These are big and sturdy and I love them!

Good Garden Stake
These garden stakes/markers are thicker and therefore stronger than others that I bought previously. I used them to mark locations for fall bulb plantings which are interspersed among perennials and existing spring bulbs. Once the perennials and the flowering bulbs die back it’s not obvious where a bulb can be safely planted without damaging a dormant plant or an existing bulb. The stakes provide safe planting locations and they are reusable. I’ve tried other materials but they don’t have the longevity of these plastic markers.

Great product, good price
Extremely pleased with these fairly large extra strong identification markers. I used a sharpie to record what I planted where; we have had serious rainstorms here and the tag is still standing and the writing is legible. These are So much better than the product I bought at the big box gardening center last year and the price was so much beter. Fast delivery, super product, fear ptice. You won't be disappointed.

Very good marker.
They work well for me to label my flowers. Quite sturdy and long enough to securely stick in the ground and still have a visible label above ground. Survived the winter ice and snow very well.

Well done !
Quality is very well, durable (maybe a bit overkilled). Not sure if they have a smaller size, since this one is kind of a bit too big so we cut it half — not a complain.

Holds Up Outdoors
I used these to label plants in my garden. They are nice and sturdy so they don’t break when you push them into the ground. They have held up against storms and wind. I wrote on them in Sharpie and they have not faded at all from the rain. I highly recommend for the price.

Reusable
I purchased these for marking garden rows. They are a good size and thickness. I should be able to use these for many years since they are made of plastic. Another reviewer shared a great tip which I am also going to do. They suggested putting masking tape on the marker and writing on the masking tape thus keeping the actual marker blank instead of writing directly on the marker. Great idea since us gardeners are always changing up what we are planting.
