This is a very cool piece of health technology. I am an adult going through allergy immune therapy and having never had to carry an Epi-pen this is very helpful in helping me remember my Epi-pen. I imagine this could be a literal life saver for parents of young children and also those preparing their older children how to manage whatever risks they might have to live with. On the software/services side, the mobile app needs some work. From the aggressive device permissions, to the overall UI/UX, it feels like a mobile app from 2010. It works, but doesn't provide intuitive controls for managing notifications, alarms, etc. There is also a training gap in the app, for example I dont know how the alerts function wonde behave setup my support circle. Does my family have to install the app to get SMS/phone alerts? If so, why? If not, would be good to k ow how that functions. Maybe I missed something in first time setup but I feel it should be more straight forward. Update: The app is no longer available. Cases are useless. Do not buy.

This is my second set of Veta Smart Cases. They really work and notify you right away when you're separated. I've tried many bluetooth enabled locators (attached to the med kit or carrying case) but nothing does exactly what the Veta does and with such accuracy. The locator is spot on too. As a provider who deals with many patients needing to carry epipens, I'm recommending it to all. I do wish the price point was a little friendlier because of the high cost of epipens but it's also an investment in protecting those pens too.

The case functions to hold my epi-pen (which came in it's own case Anyways), and it flashes a strobe light and beeps loudly if you remove it from the case. However, the "Veta App" that is supposed to be what makes this whole case "smart" and lets it send SOS messages if you remove the epipen from the case, is completely missing from the app store. I'm wondering if the company is out of business - but there is no app and the features that exist without it are relatively marginal in their benefits

It works as described, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to set it for my infant son. I want it to know that either myself or my husband are always nearby so therefore the case is never actually “left behind” according to the app. Maybe they’ll fix this? We LOVE the temperature reminders though and it works well for us since I am with him most of the time. Easy to set up too, just downloaded the app, created an account and scanned the little QR codes on the bottom of each case. Even with the changes I’d like to see I’m very happy I bought, just can’t give it a 5 star because one if the key functions isn’t ideal for our situation which I see as a flaw.

The website is up for sale so there's no way to register your purchase and there's absolutely no app in the playstore to download for monitoring the cases. That's so unprofessional that will all of the complaints that Amazon would allow the sale of this product, that's bad business on many levels and totally unexpected / exceptable

App is no longer supported so the product is useless it needs to be taken off Amazon unless the company sells the app to another you can’t even create an account and the product requires the app

I did have some difficulty setting it up. However a phone call to their customer support later and it was all set up. The customer service rep was amazing super helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend to anyone who has to carry an epipen. It is an amazing system and I feel much more reassured knowing that if I can't call and notify my family this device will. It is highly reliable as well.

This used to be a phenomenal product, definitely gave me peace of mind. Unfortunately it stopped working a few months back and I can get no response...

No hay app, la idea es buena, no hay Pagina de internet, no se si tiene cobertura internacional. Parece q solo sirve para Epi- Pen Pediátrico. Mal servicio !
