very strong, great for the price.
I was originally worried about purchasing this hammock because of the reviews I read that said it would fall apart too easily but this one held up perfectly. It's great for its price. Slightly uncomfortable but I just put a blanket on it before I use it and it's fine. You just have to find the right tension for your weight because it does stretch a little, then again I am 300 pounds so this is to be expected. I give it four stars only because the netting tends to spread and can make some pretty large gaps between string.

Good value for the price.
I bought this back in 2007. It just finally just broke after being out in the elements, all year except during winter, rain-or-shine for over 2-years. I'd say it's a good value for the price. In fact I'm going to buy another one right now.

Fun, bu t stretched immediately, can't handle kids
This may be a great hammock for the occasional user, but I like hammocks and use it alot. After my first use, it was already stretched. I pulled it back and kept using it. I have 2 kids, 12 and 9 who like it too, but it's not strong enough for them. I may like this more if i didn't have kids who like to play on it, but i'll purchase one that is a little more durable next time.

Terrified to Lay in
While the cost was low, and it looks similar to the one I had previously purchased with the stand at a big box store, the security is not the same. While I’m able to sit in this one, every time I try to lay in it I flip or almost flip out. It’s a good idea to have the edge right, but have more slack in the middle section to help create more of a cocoon experience. However there is no slack in this therefore it is rigid and tight all the way across-even while trying to sit and rock in this I slid out on my butt. As you can see while sitting in this it is extremely difficult, nay impossible to get into a laying position without sliding on my butt or flipping over. I highly discourage anyone pregnant to attempt this! It was very scary.

Texsport Padre Island Hammock 👌
Fit our original standard stand as others stated. Everyone is enjoying laying around on the hammock again and at a great low price.

Lazy man nap
This hammock is 4' wide and 120" long and fits my hammock fram with a slight sag. Holds 280 plus a 32 pound dog for those late afternoon naps in the shade. Worked for me and it will work for you.

I've Had 4 Of These In The Past 9 Years
I don't understand all of the negative reviews for this hammock. I've had 4 these in the past 9 years, they've all lasted for at least two seasons (the last one I bought was in 2015 and it's now summer of 2017). I bring mine in in the fall and put it back out in the spring. It's never brought back in, out of the weather, until it gets too cold to sit outside (usually snows first).I don't have any problem getting in or out of it, it's never broken on me until it's been out for two seasons and mine have been thru three grandkids. The oldest started playing in the hammock at age 5. Her butt used to hang thru one of the holes sometimes when she was little, but that's expected, it's not designed for a little kid.The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is because of the cost. I don't think it's worth $30 and you can buy one at Rural King for $21. I think the first one I bought was about half this price, which is ridiculous for cotton string that's equivalent to some thick mop string, two 1" boards and two metal rings.I've been happy with all 4 that I've bought, which is why I keep buying them. I'd like to find one cheaper, however.
