Can’t beat the price, great look but a little fragile
Bought this for just $20.49! Great value. Looks like the photos - nice design, color and looks. I am using it as a display case, not an art easel. The darker color makes a nice display. I wouldn’t recommend it for a hard working easel - the wood it is made from is light and soft (i.e. not a hardwood). So if you plan on banging it around to and from school or art projects, I would pay more for something sturdier.

It is a good sturdy box. Heavy duty clasps and handle. Great storage for drawing suppies.

Broke 3rd time it was opened....
It's a neat little box but it is not sturdy at all. The wood is very soft and splinters easily. The hinges popped off the third time it was opened. I filled the holes with wood glue and fixed it up some but for $30 I'd say steer clear. The storage is nice, but the interior dividers are not secure and will come out and send all your supplies into disarray.

I was opening it. Noticed it hadn't shut correctly a moment before, the lid and the base were misaligned. Didn't want to open. Made it open. Cracks and splinters. One of the risers (there are only two) had busted. In all the excitement the insides got all jumbled and fell out. Just awesome. Big mess. Paint on me, the floor, a wall, some furniture. Heard about quality issues with US Supply boxes, this Kingart seemed better than that. BTW my 4 other US Supply boxes have never given me a problem and are all on the shelf now, brimming with paint and brushes.
