TRIPAR 4-Place Horizontal Black Plate Rack for Collectible Plates, Plaques, Dishes, & China

My mom bought these decorative, signed, and numbered plates when I was a baby. She kept them so protected, didn't even know they existed until a few years ago when she gave them to me at Christmas. She Googled their value before presenting to me $15 a plate 😂They had actually DECREASED in value 🤣 She gave them to me saying, "do what you want with them" and I knew I had to display them somehow simply because the story was too good.Hit up trusty Amazon to find a plate holder and came across this gem. Very sturdy. Nicely designed with the screws placed strategically where plates will hide them. I got a little nervous as my desired placement was above my kitchen pantry and with 2 kids, those doors see a lot of action. I did opt to use wall anchors and matching screws I had on-hand as opposed to the included hardware for this reason. I tested the doors a few times to see how much of a beating they could take before plates started rattling and the plates didn't budge.Looks great, super easy to hang, and exactly what I was looking for!

Works really well and looks good in the theme of the room that I am using it in. Used the screws that came with it to hang the rack and it holds the smallish plates very well and doesn't seem like they are too heavy for the rack or that it will fall under the weight. However, it is important to know that the plates I am using are decorative plates and are lightweight. If wanting to display dinnerware type plates, this isn't the hanger for you. Also the plates need to be 6 inches or less to fit on rack and not be crowded. Now that I think about it, we may not have used the screws that came with it. We used those plastic thingies that you pound into the wall and then screw into those. Not sure if they came with the hanger or not. If not, I highly recommend using the plastic thingies.

The rack was easy to put up- trying to keep it level was a challenge for these old eyes! Putting the plates up, the plate rests were too slick and the plates slide around. I actually lost a plate😢 to my unforgiving tile floor. I took flexible straws and cut and placed them on the rests. Wish I had black straws, but! The plates are stable and I could adjust the angle of their placement. And I found a replacement plate for my broken plate.

It's easy to hang up, the design is a bit fancy and simple, it's perfect for what I needed it for.

The product appeared sturdy and looked very nice. However after mounting the two on the wall, and adding the frames, I noticed one rack was slightly bent upward on the bottom center, resulting in the frames sitting a little crooked. This happened in the manufacture. One was perfectly fine. There was no way to "bend" it in place. So I had to place a piece of tape under the corners of some of the frames so they would sit straight.
