Excellent Still & Video Picture, Hidden Video Issue
I bought this top of the line expensive Browning trail cam expecting it to do what it was advertised to do, NOT so. It is supposed to take 1 minute and 2 minute long videos however it turns off at 20 seconds when dark. When I called Browning Tech-Support I was told that this is a preset night battery saving setting and could not be changed. There is nothing in the operating manual or the units menu about this "preset battery saving" mode. I can buy more batteries, it should record as advertised without any hidden issues. I asked if I could send it back to have the software changed to allow it to take 1 and 2 minute night video as displayed in the units menu but I was told No, that it couldn't be changed - False Advertising? The picture quality is excellent and the audio is good but I'm Really disappointed that it won't take one or two minute night video as advertised. If that's not an issue for you you'll probably be very pleased with this camera.
