About as durable as a paper clip you bend a few times.
Ok so this came awhile ago for me but only writing a review now. I was so happy with it for about 3 weeks till one of the arms snapped off when i was wrapping it around a handle bar on my bike. It was the first time i used the banding feature as up till then i just used it as a table tripod. A week after that the 2nd leg broke off. It wen in the bin then.It is very flexable but it dawned on me that if you bend steal left and then right the chances of it breaking are high and that is what happened. About as sturdy as a paper clip that you bend a few times

Everyone needs one!
Had a play around and shot a few videos so far with it and I'm glad I bought this product.I Bought this as a ideal tripod for family pictures, almost mountable everywhere. The feet are easy to move and very sturdy. The overall product is very well built and strong, and easy malleable to hold itself, the remote is a handy feature allowing you to take pictures and video at set distances perfect for family pictures.I'm glad to have purchased this tripod as it allows you to be hands free whilst recording video or even video calling, I have purchased one for a family member and I'm sure they will be just as delighted as me :)Overall its just what I was looking for an I am very pleased with the product from kobratech, a brand I now trust 100%

Does what it has to, but a bit flimsy
Legs feel reassuringly strong and stiff, but the base of the phone holder which they are attached to looks and feels very flimsy. When bending the legs, I have to hold the top of the leg itself, afraid to put pressure on where it mounts or it feels like it's going to snap off. Otherwise OK, holds phone very tightly too.Not best pleased about the 2 year warranty though - you go to their website to register the product, and it tells you once you create an account and log in, you will be referred to Facebook Messenger to complete your registration? Don't have FB, hate it and not going to get it, so I can't have a warranty extension? Nope, don't like that. Seems an unusual way of doing things.

Not good for large phones
Really wanted to like this but it’s just not useful. Technically you can have the phone vertical or horizontal but in reality it just topples over no matter how you try spread the tripod feet. It’s just too much weight on one side. I do have the iPhone 11 Pro Max so maybe it’s just too big. Disappointed.

Securing the phone
This is a very handy light-weight holder for my iPhone. I needed something to hold my phone steady whilst making short videos for You Tube and this is 'just the job'. The remote is very useful, hence top marks. The tripod is probably sturdier than it looks and the whole kit is versatile. However, I would be wary about mounting my heavy Nikon on it, but basicaly it must have been designed for holding an iPhone or similar.

Works with Samsung Note 10+
Bought this your go with my new Note 10+It's the only one of table size that could take such a large phone. It can easily hold the phone, even with a thin bumper case. But with such a heavy phone you will need to be careful positioning it doesn't fall over. It works though. If I had the option of buying their Pro version, 8" legs instead of 5" and can hold a phone 4,1" instead of 3,7" wide, I would have bought that one. This one is a little to small for my liking. Unfortunately they don't sell it on Amazon.co.uk and their own website don't ship to Sweden.I do like it well enough that if that one becomes available I will buy that one too and pass this one on to one of my kids. The remote connected easily with the phone. And could both take pictures and start/stop video recording directly.

Mobile phone tripod
Having a remote control for taking selfies is great - it gets away from a shot of someone with an arm missing and allows for a wider-angle shot. The range of the bluetooth connection is good. The only drawback is that it's not the sturdiest of tripods, but I don't see this as a major problem.

Bought before pandemic, used handful of times. Fell apart when I tried to use it today.
I bought this in 2019 and used a handful of times. Then the pandemic hit and tried to use it for the first time since 2019 to stream a live fitness class this morning and the moving smartphone holder part just fell apart when I pulled it to insert the phone and a big spring flew out, so it is now useless. I’d expect this of something I just paid £5 for from a cheap store or market, but not £16.99 for via Amazon. I get that it’s out of warranty, but 5-6 times of using something is not fair use for something to break. Hence the poor rating.
