Vic Firth Signature Series -- Matt Cameron

So, I was going to buy Vic Firth drum sticks anyway, when I realized that they have signature sticks of my favorite drummer. Honestly, it was only two or three dollars extra for the signature model, so I figured I would try it... at least I have a cool signature on it, right?I really did think it was just a gimmick, but these sticks are amazing. I will exclusively use these sticks as long as they are available.Sticks do matter, and I do believe these sticks have improved my playing.

Great quality from a top manufacturer but I prefer their regular 5B which is a tad shorter, thicker & heavier. I gave these a shot. Not a big fan of the tip shape either but it’s personal preference.

Best sticks on the market, PERIOD! They feel incredible, have enough thickness to them where they aren't too abrasive on the kit, and the tips make my bell on my ride SING. Like they CUTT. Love these sticks!

I love the barrel tip and the diameter of these. It's a little too light for me though. I prefer the balance of a 5B, but have never liked the acorn tip. This was much lighter than the 5B. But if you're a lighter player, I'd recommend these.

Matt's wood definitely met AND exceeded my expectations. I mailed one stick of Matt's wood to my friend in Scotland and kept the other stick for myself. It does everything I expected it to do- AND MORE! Thanks amazon!!!

Good balance sticks , little heavy on tip though but overall good stick. Perfect for heavier playing.

I grabbed these because I thought they were the original Matt Cameron Signature Series Vic Firth sticks, but sadly they are not and those particular sticks continue to elude me. These sticks are good for what they are, what feels like between a 5B and a 3A, and made with the usual high Vic Firth quality (I swear by Vic Firths) but not what I was looking for. The original sticks were similar to a 5B, but had a long taper and got thicker and heavier at the shoulder, giving it more weight towards the tip. I played briefly with a pair my friend had like 15 years ago, and have never been able to find another pair since. If anyone knows where to get a few pairs, please let me know =)
