Proper fit
Got this up and running for my streamer son. Perfect compatibility with scarlet focusrite. The older gen uses this. I think gen 2 is what my son has. Mine is newer and a more modern USB.

Perfect
I have a sound room, which is really just my large closet. It works great but I don't want to have my computer in there while I work. It's too loud. So I bought this cable to have a consistent connection for a keyboard and mouse. It works great. Now I don't have to keep getting up and going into the next room to type or scroll while I narrate books.

Simple fix to power loss issues with Scarlett series interfaces. Works great!
Works great and solved the power issues I was having with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. Got it used and the previous owner hadn't included the original cable, so when I plugged it in I would get constant power drops, making my speakers freak out every time. Finally I got this cable and everything works great now.

Only worked for a month then malfunctioned.
I'm really disgusted with the quality of this cord. It lasted just long enough to be outside the return window, then began to malfunction. Whenever I plug in my device (Scarlett 2i2), it turns on and off in a never ending cycle unless by some miracle of wiggling it engages. It appears that some have good results but I had to toss mine.

Not at all what I expected or wanted
My cable arrived today and I was excited to connect it to my Focusrite Scarlett Solo. Unfortunately, the cable came in the condition that you see in the pictures. At first i thought the inner wiring was exposed, but then I discovered that it was some kind of weird substance that was coating the cable. that was problem number one. The second and most annoying thing is that the cable does not work with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo! The end that goes into the unit is too small! In effect, it doesn't work. Now, I have to send this back, if they'll take it and actually get a new cable. Definitely disappointed.
