This worked but I got higher than expected SWR. I cut off the factory connector and crimped on a slightly better one and the SWR dropped back into the normal range (1:1-1:2).

It’s a good cable

Ok quality for the money I guess. While adding some liquid tape, I didn’t notice at first, there’s some corrosion in the solder joint. It was gray and I thought it was solder. Upon closer observation, the Gnd/Negative part of the cable had no connection, not even a strand! I cut off the plastic shield on the bottom and resoldered both connections. At least there’s actually copper in the RG58.

Not damaged, easy I stall and as described.

Costs less than Midland Radio Cable - works the same
