Excellent quality and ease of operation.
Like:Overall quality is excellent. Sturdy, well made, little to no wobble, easy to clean (bees will do 90% of it), efficient, quite operation, easy to use. Motor is smooth and almost noise free. This is a very nice extractor.Dislike:Nothing.I just completed my first harvest with this extractor. I researched electric extractios over the past winter before buying this one. I bought a 2 frame extractor. There are a few sharp edges (I found 2). Pay attention to the ball bearing in the inside base that the basket spins on. Not sure if this comes out but others have reported losing it and this is something to pay attention to when using the extractor. Clean before use. Before giving it to the bees get as much honey out of the botton as you can so as not to have some bees get stuck. I have 3 hives and this is sufficient for my operation. If I increase my number of hives and buy a larger unit it will be this brand. Start on low speed as recommended and gradually increase speed if necessary. I experienced little to no vibration overall. It cleaned 2 frames in about 2 minutes per side. Removing the basket to clean the unit and rerassembling it is not a big deal. Great item and would recommend to a friend.

PerfectFor small apiary’s
I have 7 colonies.. the extractor has worked perfectly last 2 years. Easy to assemble, clean, and maintain. Wish I had bought the 8 frame but still pleased with this one. Suggest you buy some food safe grease to lubricant the bottom axle, and extra red things that go between the motor and frame assembly as I toke my first one up on first time run. .

Good customer service
Arrived with a cracked cover and a small dent. Contacted seller and they made it right within 3 days. Used to extract 12 frames of honey and it worked well. Quality isnt the greatest but for the price it works ok

Works well
We processed our first batch of honey with this extractor. For the most part, it was easy to assemble but you need a second person to help with the smaller nuts. We also bolted ours to a piece of wood as the information we had read about this extractor said otherwise it would wobble too much. The wooden platform worked great. The extractor is very quiet. It did a great job of spinning the honey. Dissassembling it was easy for cleaning afterwards. Putting in back together the second time was easier. We are pleased with this equipment. We had to pay a fortune in shipping but it was the only thing available that had good reviews and it came within a week. Overall we would recommend it. It was also easy to find videos online to help with questions we had since we were first-time users.

It gets the job done, but……..
The media could not be loaded. It works but you must realize this is made as cheaply as possible so it can sell for the lowest price. I spun 9 honey supers this year with this extractor. It has sharp edges EVERYWHERE!!!! You will cut your hands on everything by just simply grabbing the unit when it starts to wobble. The “doorway” for the frames to go in and out is very small so as you try and put frames in or pull them out you hit your fingers on sharp edges of the plastic. A 5 gallon buckets cannot fit under the extractor you have to get a smaller pot then transfer to buckets as the pot fills. Why would you make an extractor a 5 gallon bucket doesn’t fit under is beyond me. They also put grease in the extractor where my honey would be. If I didn’t thoroughly clean mine first I would have never seen it. NO ONE wants grease in their honey!!!! Like I said it works but wow it leaves a lot to be desired lol

Bad speed controller or motor?
I just put it together today and tried it for the first time. I also sent a message to the seller with these problems and plan to update the review once I’ve heard back from them but wanted to write this all down while it was fresh in my mind. The problems:1:The speed controller and motor are different then the one in the listing though have similar specs so should be fine.2: normal dents and sharp edges causing lids to not line up properly but should function fine.3: the honey gate leaks because you can barely snug it down before the nut skips. It also has a very thin gasket that didn’t seal well due to the round shape of the tub.4: the power light comes on once plugged in even when the power switch is in off position which is odd more then an actual problem.5: the speed controller knob has large dead spots where the speed stays the same so it’s more like it has 3 or 4 speeds not variable speed.6: even at the highest speed it’s much slower then what similar sized/designed spinners I’ve seen get up to. Like maybe only half their speed. I did notice if I turn the speed all the way up before turning the power switch on it seems to start spinning up to a much faster speed but will cut off after a second until it slows back down to the normal (too slow) max speed. When this happens you can watch the armature of the motor dip down then pop back up once it cuts off. Here’s hoping I don’t have to return the whole thing but as it stands it’s basically useless

Impressive!
Dandy machine! We are novice beekeepers with only 2 colonies so the size is great for us. Even if we had 4 hives it will work bc I'm not that much in a hurry. My boyfriend ended up screaming it down to an 8 ft piece of pressed wood so it wouldn't walk all over the floor. but that ended up working honour advantage bc it really made the machine sturdy plus any mess went on the plyboard and not the basement floor. It will need to be secured for sure but holes in the feet are predrilled!Easy clean up with garden hose, bucket on hot water and a sponge. It ran very well for me, I didnt go faster than 55 on the dial bc I didnt want the foundation wax to fly off but rather give it back to the bees to clean up. I couldn't believe it wasnt a pile of sh** when I saw the box and packaging though-- it looked like it was thrown off the place, thrown onto and off of every truck--the box(es) we a mess and the styrofoam was in a million pieces. The only thing wrong was that one of the clear lid pieces are cracked at the handle but I can live with that. Also no instruction manual even though it's pretty cut and dry.I'm glad that is all was wrong bc I called and emailed the company several times and still no answer...return would probably be a B.

Best Equip was very good to deal with
The first one I bought got delivered to the wrong address wrong province. But Best Equip was quick to refund my money no argument at all very apologetic and offered me a. 20.$ discount if I ordered again, so I did, the 2nd one come on time and in great shape. It seems to work fine. I would highly recommend dealing with this company the costumer service is great. There was no hinges for the doors and one had fracture cracks in it but no big deal. I will be looking to buy more equipment from this company
