Good quality filter
Bought from Amazon as the seller and it seems to be a genuine Hotpoint filter. No complaints at all; fits perfectly and has no rips or tears despite the dryer being used every day.The critical reviews almost put me off, but I'm wondering if those filters had been bought from other businesses rather than Amazon being the seller.

Filters are important with the Hotpoint brand and should be cleaned after every cycle.
We tend to get through these with annoying regularity. The plastic is affected by the heat and gets brittle after about 18 months. The saving grace is that they aren’t expensive. Less said about the Hotpoint build quality the better.
